Nguyen Tat Thanh University welcomes more than 180 students and researchers to join the building of knowledge.
On the morning of January 20, at the District 4 campus, Nguyen Tat Thanh University solemnly organized the Opening Ceremony for the Master’s and Doctoral degrees, second intake of 2023.
The ceremony was attended by: Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong – Vice President and Dean of the Postgraduate Institute, along with representatives of department heads, deputy heads, and the Postgraduate Institute of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
On behalf of the University Council and the Board of Directors, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, congratulated the 183 students and researchers who were admitted to Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Dr. Cam stated that the university’s training program is focused on training Master’s and Doctoral students with deep knowledge, solid skills, independent and creative abilities, and a sense of responsibility to their profession, the community, and society. This is to develop the capabilities to solve problems in their field of study as well as the practical issues posed by reality.

During the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong – Vice President and Dean of the Postgraduate Institute announced and awarded the Decision to recognize 43 new researchers and 138 new students who were admitted to Nguyen Tat Thanh University in the second intake of 2023.

On this occasion, representatives from the Postgraduate Institute and the leaders of departments offering doctoral and master’s programs introduced their departments and training programs for each field of study, information about training and examination plans, exploitation of online learning resources, and the use of library materials.

On behalf of more than 180 new researchers and postgraduate students, Mr. Tran Tuan Minh – a Finance researcher – shared his reason for choosing Nguyen Tat Thanh University, which is because of his previous experience at the university. With a focus on students and the training philosophy of “Practice – Practical – Prestige – Professionalism,” the university has built a truly practical training program, applying many international standard learning methods, with students as the focus. Many cooperative and academic exchange programs have been and are being implemented by the university, meeting almost all the needs of the students.

Tran Tuan Minh, a new researcher, said that unlike undergraduate programs, postgraduate programs will focus on the chosen specialization, requiring in-depth research and changes in learning methods. Therefore, we must quickly adapt to keep up with the program. For this reason, all students and researchers need to overcome challenges, strive, and make efforts to complete the program excellently.
As of now, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is training 10 majors and 01 specialized major at the Master’s level, and 04 majors at the Doctoral level. Among them, there are 4 Master’s programs that meet the quality accreditation standards according to Circular 04 of the Ministry of Education and Training: Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance – Banking, and Tourism.
In recent years, generations of alumni from postgraduate programs have been demonstrating their capabilities, values, and positive influence in various organizations, businesses, contributing to the country’s development. They have also been expanding the alumni network and spreading values to the community, contributing to the country’s development day by day. Through this, it further affirms the quality of education at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, as it is recognized and objectively evaluated by the labor market and society, helping to bring the university’s brand closer to candidates and parents.
