Nguyen Tat Thanh University welcomes senior leaders of Meiho University (Taiwan)

NTTU – On November 28, 2022, the delegation of Meiho University’s senior leaders (Taiwan) visited Nguyen Tat Thanh University. This is the first visit after nearly 2 years of the Covid 19 pandemic. Leading the delegation was Prof. LIU, CHUNG-CHIH – Chairman of the Board of Directors, together with the members, including: Ms. HUANG, CHUEH – Wife of the Chairman, Prof. WU, TIEN-FU – Member of the Board of Directors, Prof. WANG, CHIEN-TAI – President, Prof. GUU, YUAN-KUANG, Dean of the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Science, Dr. LIN, HSIAO-TSENG, Associate Prof. and Chair of Dept. of Information Technology, Dean of International and Cross-Straits Affairs.

Representatives from Nguyen Tat Thanh University were Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President, Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong – Vice President, Le Quang Khanh, MBA – Manager of International Cooperation Department, Nguyen Phuong Thong, MBA – Deputy Manager of International Cooperation Department, Dr. Tao Thi Lan Phuong – Head of Joint Training Department.

NTTU’s President and Vice President welcome Meiho University

At the meeting, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of the University, thanked the leaders of Meiho University for visiting NTTU. Both universities have cooperated with each other since 2010 with 6 very successful training courses for the Master of Nursing program, providing the nursing workforce of Vietnam in general and Nguyen Tat Thanh University in particular.

With the desire to tighten the relationship as well as expand other areas of cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong – Vice President proposed collaborative programs such as exchange of students and lecturers; joint training for master’s degree in information technology; dual degree training program, etc. The leaders of Meiho University highly appreciated these proposals and will discuss with relevant departments to promote cooperation as soon as possible. On this occasion, Mr. Liu Chung-Chih – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Meiho University invited the top management of Nguyen Tat Thanh University to visit Meiho University in 2023.
