Nguyen Tat Thanh University awarded more than 2 billion VND to Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund

NTTU – On the morning of December 1, 2020, Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the club “For the beloved Hoang Sa – Truong Sa” held a press conference for an art exchange program with the theme “Spring journey up and down the forest and sea” and received support from units. In which, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has supported scholarships for 15 students with a value of more than 2 billion VND.

As a non-public university with many outstanding achievements, with just over 20 years of establishment and development from a human resource training center for the garment industry, up to now, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has become a leading university in Vietnam with multidisciplinary, multi-level study, training 20,000 students in 16 faculties of 5 majors: Health, Economics, Engineering – Technology, Humanities and Arts. Nguyen Tat Thanh University is the second university in Vietnam to be recognized by QS Stars (UK) as a 4-star standard and the first non-public school in Vietnam to be awarded the Vietnam University Quality Ranking System and UPM with 4 stars. The school identifies students as “special customers”, the center for the University to provide the best services, the most ideal learning environment, so in recent years, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has constantly associated training responsibility with social responsibility, considering social responsibility as an important part in the cause of sustainable development.

The university has accompanied the fund from the 2012-2013 academic year, and committed to the fund, every year Nguyen Tat Thanh University will receive and sponsor 100% of the tuition fees for 50 students with an amount of up to 6 billion VND and up to 6 billion VND each year. Currently, the university has received 75 children from Vu A Dinh Fund’s projects.

In the coming years, the school will always be an active companion in the projects of the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund. It is hoped that this contribution from Nguyen Tat Thanh University and the sponsors for the Vu A Dinh scholarship fund will partly fuel the dreams of poor students in mountainous and border areas to shine, fly high, fly far and soon become reality.

On December 5, 2020, at the Hall of Ho Chi Minh City Television Station, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the Club “For the beloved Hoang Sa – Truong Sa” will coordinate with the Ho Chi Minh City Television Station to organize an art exchange program with the theme “Spring journey up the forest to the sea”. The program is organized for the following purposes: Summarizing a year of operation of the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund and the club “For the beloved Hoang Sa – Truong Sa”, awarding the Vu A Dinh Award to 10 groups and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements. outstanding achievements in various fields, having initiatives and scientific works, and operating models that bring practical benefits to mountainous, border and island areas; awarding certificates of merit from ministries and branches; receive support from businesses and benefactors at home and abroad; giving Tet gifts to the People’s Committee of Truong Sa District, Khanh Hoa province; Naval Command. Coast Guard Command, Political Department of Border Guard Command in the South, Navy Region 2 Command and fishermen in difficult circumstances.
