Nguyen Tat Thanh University Welcomes and Works with Adamson University – Philippines

NTTU – On March 6, 2024, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), together with the Faculty of Construction Engineering (KTXD) and the Faculty of Business Administration (QTKD), welcomed and worked with Adamson University (AdU).

The AdU delegation was represented by Mr. Fr. Daniel Franklin E. Pilario – President; Ms. Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan – Director of the External Relations Office; Mr. Dr. Ruben Nayve – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and Ms. Dr. Emily Baluyot – Head of the Financial Management Department.

The NTTU representatives who welcomed and worked with the delegation included Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President; Mr. Le Quang Khanh – Manager of the International Relations; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu – Dean of the Faculty of Construction Engineering; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.

It is known that the visit and working session of the AdU delegation follows the Visiting Professor program of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu at AdU in September 2023 and the upcoming Visiting Professor program of AdU lecturers at the Faculty of Construction Engineering – NTTU, which will take place from March 11-15, 2024. This event is part of the series of international cooperation activities that both parties are actively promoting in the near future.

In this meeting, both sides were pleased with the achievements they have made in the field of international cooperation recently. This is most evident in the university rankings of NTTU in Vietnam and AdU in the Philippines, both regionally and continentally. With the aim of enhancing the quality of students and providing opportunities to explore each other’s cultures, the President of AdU expressed a desire for both sides to organize student exchange programs between the two universities soon.

Furthermore, NTTU and AdU discussed various plans to further strengthen the cooperative relationship between the two universities. The President of AdU wished success for the upcoming one-week Visiting Professor program at the Faculty of Construction Engineering. Additionally, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of NTTU, expressed excitement and joy over the rapid development of both sides since the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding in 2022, through the educational cooperation activities of the past year and in the time to come.

Additionally, AdU expressed a desire to have more collaboration opportunities with NTTU’s Faculty of Business Administration in the future. Specifically, Dr. Ruben Nayve invited Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi to attend the upcoming conference of the Faculty of Business Administration at AdU.

The meeting has opened up many new prospects for connection between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Adamson University. It promises to bring numerous comprehensive learning and training opportunities for students from both universities, paving the way for their journey towards international integration.
