The signing ceremony of tripartite cooperation between NTTU, Union of Science and Technology Associations, and Binh Phuoc Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center

NTTU – On April 18, Nguyen Tat Thanh University in collaboration with the Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism of Binh Phuoc province successfully organized the signing ceremony of the cooperation period within 5 years (2023-2027)

Attending the signing ceremony, on the side of Binh Phuoc Province, there were Mr. Giang Van Khoa – President of Union of Science and Technology Associations; Ms. Tran Quoc Duy – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism, and other experts.

On the side of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there were Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President, and lecturers from Faculty of Tourism and Creative Communication.

During the working session at the headquarters of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Binh Phuoc province, after discussing and exchanging details, representatives of leaders of the related parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Union of Science and Technology Associations, Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism of Binh Phuoc province and Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

This signing ceremony marks the cooperation of 3 units in scientific research coordination; training and developing human resources; coordinate in performing other tasks of 3 parties according to the agreed functions and tasks. Specifically, the main purpose will focus on researching, proposing and implementing an experiential tourism model associated with supporting the development of OCOP products in Binh Phuoc Province. In addition, the training, development promotion and training of tourism-related professions of member enterprises in the province; organizing experience tours and promoting activities on websites, social networking sites, coordinating to organize commercial and tourism activities, etc. will also be implemented.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Quoc Duy – Director of the Provincial Center for Investment Promotion, Trade and Tourism highly appreciated this cooperation. This will be an opportunity for the parties to promote their own strengths and common strengths when there is coordination in performing tasks according to the goals set out in the memorandum of understanding.

Also within the framework of the program, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University said that the Faculty of Tourism and Vietnam Studies of the university has participated in many scientific projects; training human resources, contributing to promoting the tourism industry in some localities in the country to develop, especially the experiential tourism model associated with typical regional products. After the signing ceremony today, the university hopes that the parties will strengthen connections, have specific plans for each year and have specific activities to promote tourism in Binh Phuoc province.

The successful signing of the Memorandum of Understanding will serve as a premise for specific plans in the cooperation program between the parties in the coming time. This is a good start signal for the cooperation between the University – Locality – Enterprises – Scientists, carrying out the mission of linking training with scientific research, technology transfer, and community services of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
