Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore) visits Nguyen Tat Thanh University
On September 21, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) in cooperation with the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Development (Ministry of Science & Technology) organized an exchange day to share, reciprocate previous experiences in innovative and start-up activities between lecturers and students of the two institutions.
On behalf of Temasek Polytechnic (Singapore), Mr. Lee Chek Meng – Deputy Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Jy Tan – Founder of Basehome Company; Mr. Lim Guo Hong – Founder of Corsiva Lab Company and a team of more than 25 lecturers and students of Temasek Polytechnic participated in the exchange day at NTT.
Representatives from NTTU included Mr. Le Quang Khanh – Head of Department of International Relations; Mr. Tran Binh Hau – Head of IT Department; Mr. Le Tan Thanh – Vice Dean, Faculty of Tourism; Dr. Cao Van Kien – Vice Dean, Faculty of Information Technology; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Thong – Deputy Head of Department of International Relations; Dr. Hoang Thinh Nhan – Deputy Director of NTTU Innovation and Incubation Center (NIIC); Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh – Deputy Head of Department of Communications with lecturers, NTTU students as start-up competition award winning teams in 2023.
This event is an opportunity for NTTU staff, lecturers to promote international cooperation, improve entrepreneurship and innovation capacity. Meanwhile, it also creates a chance to exchange, connect, and learn with students from Temasek Polytechnic, thereby introducing and promoting the positive images of NTTU.

Mr. Jy Tan – Basehome Company and Mr. Lim Guo Hong – Corsiva Lab Company shared their journey and experience in implementing successful startup projects in Vietnam. These are practical stories which are inspirational to all the students. The successful stories also serve as the opportunities and potential for international cooperation between the two institutions in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.

At the event, award winning teams including the Medileaf (first prize in the Contest ‘Students with Creative Startup Ideas’ in 2023), HMG Herbal Abalone Mushroom (first prize) and Q-Hair (third prize of the Design Thinking Open Innovation 2023 competition) proudly shared and introduced their startup project.
