NTTU students won second prize in the 2023 Science and Technology Award for Students

NTTU – Recently, in Da Nang, a group of students from Nguyen Tat Thanh University excellently brought home the Second prize at the Science and Technology Award for students of higher education institutions in 2023.

According to the Organizing Committee, the Science and Technology Award for students in higher education institutions in 2023 received support and response from higher education institutions from the department and school levels of 103 educational institutions of higher education with nearly 10,000 participating topics in 6 fields of Science and Technology. In the final round, there were 85 projects from 45 higher education institutions participating.

Among them, Nguyen Tat Thanh University had an excellent project that entered the final round in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology, which was the project “Research and application of probe shells for composting agricultural waste of durian shells according to Circular economy orientation” carried out by a group of students Nguyen Thanh Tat, Nguyen Phung Loc and Doan Thi Thu Hang under the guidance of MSc. Tran Thanh.

Through the competition, the final result, the project “Research and application of copper probes to compost agricultural waste durian shells according to the circular economy orientation” excellently won the second prize in the field of Science and technology. Accordingly, the Second Prize will receive a Certificate of Merit from the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee, a bonus of 2 million VND/Prize and free use of Cloud Sever infrastructure for 06 months with a value of 10 million VND.

Science and Technology Awards for students of higher education institutions by the Ministry of Education and Training, Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee organized to praise outstanding achievements and encourage students to participate in scientific research, contributing to improving the quality of training and fostering young scientific talents in higher education institutions. Through this award, scientific research activities of students in higher education institutions were promoted, and at the same time, it was also a driving force to suggest new topic directions for students, promoting dynamism, Student creativity in learning and scientific research.
