NTTU students take field trip at Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd

NTTU – Lecturers and students majoring in Mechatronic Engineering Technology and Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology at Nguyen Tat Thanh University recently had a field trip at Sailun Vietnam Company Limited. The tour group consisted of more than 30 lecturers and students led by Dr. Tran Quang Huy – Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

The event was carried out based on the cooperative relationship between the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and members of the Business Club under the Faculty. Students visited the utility areas and production lines of Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd. such as dormitories, cafeterias, soccer fields, passenger car tire production areas, etc. and learned about the development journey of Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd.

A highlight of the field trip that received the attention of many students was directly meeting and interacting with alumni of NTTU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology who were working at Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd. Like mentors, alumni of Nguyen Tat Thanh University shared a lot of useful information about the profession as well as future job orientation and also their lessons learned at the workplace after graduating from Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Networking activities help students better understand future jobs and career as well as vacant posts at Sailun Vietnam Co., Ltd.

In the talk with delegates from Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Mr. Wang Xiao Ming, representative of Sailun Vietnam CoLtd., stated that Sailun Vietnam hoped to strengthen the cooperative relationship with NTTU’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology not only in providing internship and training activities but also offering recruitment and scholarship-awarding.

The field trip was part of a plan to promote business connection activities for students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the 2023 – 2024 school year. The activities contribute significantly to helping students of the Faculty equip themselves with practical knowledge in the industrial production environment to build up confidence on their journey of studying and self-development at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
