Nguyen Tat Thanh University participates the Capacity-Building projects in the field of Higher Education

 

NTTU – Recently, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has honorably participated in the Capacity-Building projects in the field of Higher Education (E+CBHE). Especially, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is the only university in the South to participate in the project.

The project named Modernisation, Development and Capacity Building of Master Curriculum in Traffic Safety in Asian Universities – ASIASAFE was funded by Erasmus+ CBHE of European Commission with the participation of nine universities, including:   Linköpings Universitet (LiU), Sweden (the Lead partner); the University of Rome Tor Vergata (UNITOV), Italy; the University of Porto (U.PORTO), Portugal;  University of Gadjah Mada (UGM), Indonesia; Universitas Muhammadiya Yogyakarta (UMY), Indonesia; Malaysia University of Science and Technology; Universiti Malaya (UM), Malaysia; University of Transport and Communications (UTC)  và Nguyen Tat Thanh University.  The duration of the project shall be three years from 01/2021 to 01/2024 with the funded grant of 989,700 Euro.

The project aims to develop and implement a modern master’s training program in the field of road traffic safety with a joint effort between the European partner universities and the universities of Indonesia – Malaysia. – Vietnam, a master’s program that builds/provides intensive courses on traffic safety for learners who shall be certified upon completion of the course.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University is a multidisciplinary university with more than 48 training programs. According to Dr. Thai Hong Thuy Khanh, the project coordinator of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, participating in such a large project funded by the European Commission shall open up many opportunities for the university to improve its quality, enhance its position, as well as contribute to the development of programs and high-quality human resources according to international standards.
