The logistics and supply chain management in Vietnam have developed significantly over the past years, contributing to promoting the economic value of domestic products, circulation of goods and international economic integration. The main ports in Vietnam include Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quy Nhon and Ho Chi Minh City in which Ho Chi Minh port is the 26th largest port in the world and the 5th largest port in ASEAN. However, the logistics and supply chain in Vietnam remains a newly developed industry compared to the other countries in the world. This is a great advantage for Vietnamese enterprises when operating in the field of logistics and supply chain in the current context of economic development. Meanwhile, it is also a big challenge when Vietnam has to face a shortage of highly-qualified and professionally trained employees in the supply chain industry to help reduce the negative impacts of Industry 4.0 and take advantage of Vietnam’s port infrastructure system for economic development. Hence, there is a need of analyzing the activities in the logistics and supply chain management, as well as evaluating and forecasting development trends, innovative operation models associated with technology and digital transformation. Moveover, a forum attracting the participation of scientists, lecturers, experts and enterprise managers on sharing knowledge, practical experiences, and digital technology solutions remains particularly important. Therefore, the “International Conference on Digital Innovation – Supply Chain (ICDI- SC 2022) organized by NTTU appears as a meaningful and practice-oriented conference. Through the conference, the importance of supply chain management is particularly highlighted as lessons for Vietnam in particular and the world in general.

The conference will be a forum for researchers, lecturers, experts and enterprise managers to share solutions and innovative digital technologies for supply chain in the international context. Meanwhile, it is also an opportunity for domestic and overseas scientists and lecturers in the fields of economics, finance, and management to learn, exchange experiences, improve professional qualifications, research development capabilities and skills in international publication. In addition, the conference will facilitate and promote international cooperation and research publication, contributing to improving the quality of lecturers’ research publication and the basis for scientific research activities in other academic disciplines. The scientific conference focuses on the following topics:

     1. Crisis management in Global supply chain during/post Covid-19

     2. Innovative logistics & supply chain solutions leveraging on IOT & 5G

     3. Breakthroughs in international supply chain management

     4. Impact of Industry 4.0 on supply chain and its benefit

The international scientific conference “Digital Innovation – Supply Chain 2022″ is also a chance to celebrate the comprehensive cooperation relationship between NTTU and the MUST. In particular, it serves as a driver for strengthening the cooperation relationship between NTTU and other domestic and international partners in improving the quality of higher education and training, scientific research and international publication.
