Nguyen Tat Thanh University awards 353 scholarships to excellent high school students in Ho Chi Minh City
On January 7, 2023, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), in cooperation with Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, organized the traditional camp on January 9th, 2023 with the theme “Ho Chi Minh City’s students are proud to practice Uncle Ho’s lessons”. This is an activity to educate students about the traditional values, also celebrating the 73rd Anniversary of Vietnamese Student Day (January 9, 1950 – January 9, 2023).

Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training sincerely shared that “Excellent students who participated in the traditional camp today are promoters spreading the enthusiasm and values to all other students, so that every student will further develop as a future talent who are always active in learning and preparing for future career to develop as future contributors for wider society.

Apart from the aforementioned activities, NTTU also awarded anniversary medals and 353 scholarships to 353 students with outstanding performances. NTTU is also the scholarship sponsor for 6 students with high academic performances at the Thu Duc High School camp. In addition, at other 8 camps, NTTU also organizes career consultation and orientation activities which provide students with a detailed overview of the labor market and employers’ needs.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, the 15th Camp in 2023 has been resumed this year as a dynamic playground for students in Ho Chi Minh City to showcase their creativity, dynamism, and confidence. It is also aimed to create opportunities to exchange and learn from each other, especially for Year 12 students to obtain information about a range of undergraduate programs offered at the NTTU’s counseling booths.
