Nguyen Tat Thanh University attends the seminar hosted by Association of Francophone Universities (AUF)
NTTU – On March 3, 2023, the delegation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University leaded by Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President to attend the seminar of Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) where leaders of universities, members of AUF in the southern, and leaders of AUF met and discussed on the occasion of 30th founding anniversary of AUF in Vietnam. The seminar is a part of the first business trip of Prof. Slim Khalbous – President of AUF, Prof. Marie Nathalie Le Blanc – Vice President of AUF to Asia Pacific, aiming for enhancing communication with the network of AUF members in Vietnam, listening to the demands of higher education institutes, then adjusting necessary strategies of AUF for the adaptability in Vietnam.

At the seminar, Prof. Slim Khalbous presented the strategy of AUF for the period 2021 – 2025 and the program of the 3rd Francophone Science Week from October 30 to November 2, 2023, in Québec, Canada. Member universities also discussed and proposed supporting activities suitable to current contexts of higher education institutes in Vietnam such as digital transformation, advanced academic governance in higher education, jobs and startups for students, innovation research. Nguyen Tat Thanh University highly appreciates the AUF’s development strategy, and thanks AUF for supporting the training system development of the university, affirming the innovation-oriented strategy of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is consistent with AUF’s strategic orientation on digital transformation and innovation. Prof. Slim Khalbous shared AUF is ready to support Nguyen Tat Thanh University in digital transformation and university governance towards an innovative university.
