Nguyen Tat Thanh University appointed the titles of Professor and Associate Professor to four lecturers last week

NTTU – On December 14, 2023, at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, the ceremony to announce and confer the titles of Professor and Associate Professor for the year 2023 took place, in accordance with Decision No. 80/QD – HĐGSNN dated November 20, 2023, regarding the appointment of Professor and Associate Professor titles, and Decision No. 2588/QD – NTT dated December 14, 2023, of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees – Vice Chairman of the University Council of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ai Cam, President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Prof. Assoc. Nguyen Van Thanh, Vice President – Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Assoc. Prof. Tran Thi Hong, Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Lan Phuong, Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice President, along with vice deans of faculties, departments, institutes, and centers of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Tran Thi Hong congratulated the newly appointed Professors and Associate Professors and expressed her hope that they will continue to leverage their capabilities and experiences in their professional work, contributing to teaching and scientific research to guide and assist future generations.

On behalf of the newly appointed professors and associate professors, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Xuan Nhi shared that this is a significant milestone in their careers, serving as a great motivation for them to continue striving and contributing. During their tenure, they will exert their utmost efforts, maintain their enthusiasm, and dedicate themselves to the university through teaching, mentoring research students, guiding postgraduate students, developing educational programs, and directing their research to produce valuable international publications.

According to the new policy of Nguyen Tat Thanh University in 2023, each newly appointed associate professor will receive a reward of 150 million VND, and each newly appointed professor will receive a reward of 200 million VND. The condition set by the university is that these newly appointed associate professors and professors must be within the working age and commit to working at the university for at least 5 years after receiving the award.

The representative of the Human Resources Department announced the 2023 reward policy of Nguyen Tat Thanh University for the newly appointed professors and associate professors.

The newly appointed professors and associate professors are indeed a source of pride for Nguyen Tat Thanh University, raising the total number of professors and associate professors at the university to 15 professors and 53 associate professors. This contributes to affirming the quality of the university’s human resources in serving teaching and scientific research activities, which are continually being enhanced. It is hoped that in the upcoming 5-year term, the newly appointed professors and associate professors will fulfill their plans and make significant contributions to the university’s teaching, research, cooperation, and other activities, thereby contributing to the university’s outstanding achievements.
