Nam A Bank awarded 80 million VND in scholarships to students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University
NTTU – With a shared goal of nurturing the dreams of the younger generation, on the morning of December 6, 2023, Nguyen Tat Thanh University collaborated with Nam A Bank to organize the Signing Ceremony for Cooperation and the Nam A Bank Scholarship Award Ceremony for students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the Faculty of Business Administration for the academic year 2023 – 2024.
In attendance from Nam A Bank were leaders including Mr. Nguyen Viet Hoi – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Area, Mr. Ho Ngoc Tan – Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Area cum Director of the Ham Nghi Cluster, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong – Director of the Training Center cum Head of Human Resources Department, Mr. Tran Ngoc Bach – Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Ham Nghi cum Director of Nam A Bank Phu My Hưng, Mr. Duong Vinh Bao – Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Ham Nghi, Mr. Tran Phan Vân Truong – Deputy Director of Nam A Bank Phu My Hung.
Representing Nguyen Tat Thanh University were Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President of the University, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Head of the Enterprise Relations and Student Employment Department, MSc. Vunng Sy Giao – Deputy Head of the Finance – Accounting Department, MSc. Truong Quang Tri – Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Department, MSc. Đao Thi Thu Hien – Head of the International Business Department of the Faculty of Business Administration, along with nearly 300 students from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the Faculty of Business Administration.

Nam A Bank is known as a business that actively participates in the country’s education sector, contributing to the development of young talented human resources. In line with these values, at this event, Nam A Bank sponsored 20 scholarships for 20 outstanding students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University who have overcome difficulties, with a total sponsorship value of up to 80,000,000 VND.
In order to award these scholarships to the students who truly need and deserve them, NTTU cooperated with Nam A Bank to carefully consider and select students who meet the criteria for receiving scholarships, such as having difficult circumstances and excelling in their studies. At the event, the Nam A Bank leadership presented 20 scholarships to 20 NTTU students, each valued at 4,000,000 VND.
Representatives of Nam A Bank presented 10 scholarships to students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and 10 scholarships to students of the Faculty of Business Administration.
As one of the 20 lucky students to receive the Nam A Bank scholarship, Nguyen Ngoc Ngan – a student of Class 21DQT2C – International Business Major – Faculty of Business Administration expressed: “Today, we are very touched and extremely grateful to the leadership of Nam A Bank for awarding us these valuable scholarships. The support of your bank is a great source of encouragement, inspiring us to strive in our studies, overcome all difficulties, and continue our journey to pursue knowledge.”
Nguyen Ngoc Ngan – a student of Class 21DQT2C – International Business Major – Faculty of Business Administration made a statement at the event.
In order to provide students with the opportunity to study, intern, and experience the real working environment at the bank before and after graduation, Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Nam A Bank have signed a cooperation agreement.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Tran Ai Cam emphasized, “The signing of the cooperation agreement between NTTU and Nam A Bank will mark a significant milestone for both parties. From this collaborative connection, as the university’s representative, I hope that this cooperation will bring about many positive results. Strengthening comprehensive cooperation in various fields holds the promise of delivering significant value and significance in the future.”

During the event, students also had the opportunity to participate in a Career Orientation Seminar and learn about job opportunities at Nam A Bank. Accompanying this seminar was the special presence of invited guests, including Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong, who currently holds the position of Director of the Training Center cum Head of the Human Resources Department at Nam A Bank, and Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong, Head of the Enterprise Relations and Student Employment Department at NTTU.

The seminar helped students acquire a wealth of useful information and gain skills to impress employers. Particularly, they gained a better understanding of the recruitment needs and corporate culture at Nam A Bank, which equipped them with more confidence to apply for promising positions at a prestigious and reputable bank like Nam A Bank.
