Ho Chi Minh City honours Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan as Excellent Enterprise and Entrepreneur in 2022

Recently, at the 18th Anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day and Honoring Ceremony for Excellent Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of Ho Chi Minh City in 2022, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Business Association, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) and Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan – Chairwoman of the University Council were awarded in two categories of “Excellent Enterprise” and “Excellent Entrepreneur” respectively.

In 2022, there were 98 enterprises and 98 entrepreneurs in Ho Chi Minh City with outstanding achievements in business activities which contributed directly to the economic, cultural and social development. In addition, these award-winning enterprises also strictly complied with legal regulations and significantly contributed to the national budget, economic – cultural – social development to build the city with good quality of life, civilization, modernity and kindness.

At this year’s event, NTTU won the title of “2022 Excellent Enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City” awarded to enterprises with major contributions to the development of education and training of high-quality human resources for the city. In particular, the University proudly received a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee for excellent completion of the assigned tasks over the years. Moreover, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee also honoured Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan – Secretary of the Party Committee – Chairwoman of the University Council with the certificate of “2022 Excellent Entrepreneur of Ho Chi Minh City”.

During 23 years of establishment and development, NTTU has successfully completed the mission of training high-quality human resources. This is achieved by constantly reflecting the changing requirements of the labor market on the journey of building the university’s brand as a destination for students from all over the country to explore knowledge and develop the society. Over the years, the training scale of the University is constantly expanding. The quality of undergraduate and postgraduate programs is constantly being improved to fulfill the requirements for internationalization. Many undergraduate programs were accredited according to the national accreditation standards, regional AUN quality assessment standards. The University also achieved the 4-stars rating recognition globally accredited by QS (UK), the highest 5-stars qualification by the University Performance Metrics (UPM) amongst Vietnamese applied universities and many other acknowledgements by the domestic and international accreditation standards.

Excellent enterprises of Ho Chi Minh City is a noble title awarded by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee which recognizes and certifies the appointed individuals and enterprises. The biennial award is aimed to honor and reward enterprises and entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in business activities, contributing to the economic and social development of the city.
