Faculty of Civil Engineering, Nguyen Tat Thanh University visits Naresuan University (Thailand)
NTTU – On August 1, 2022, a delegation of lecturers from Nguyen Tat Thanh University visited Naresuan University, Phitsanulok city, Thailand.
Naresuan University was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee – Acting President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Korakod Nusit – Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dondej Tungtakanpoung – Lecturer of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Representatives from Nguyen Tat Thanh University included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu – Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering; Dr. Le Ho Minh Tri – Lecturer of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Addressing welcome speech to the delegation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University to Naresuan University, Acting President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee highly appreciated the development of the University in recent years and congratulated the University on achieving QS 4 Stars. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee also hopes this cooperation of the Faculty of Civil Engineering between the two institutions will be fundamental for long-term development laterally. The President of Naresuan University hopes that, after this event, the two universities will have more successful cooperation activities in the future not only in the construction field but also in many other fields.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu thanked the warm welcome of Naresuan University’s Board of Rectors as well as leaders of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Through the exchange, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu highly appreciated the position and prestige of Naresuan University in training in Civil Engineering, Medicine and Pharmacy and other key fields. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu hopes that, through this trip, Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Naresuan University will promote the development of more cooperation programs in research and student exchange in the near future.

The date of August 2, 2022 is the key part of the working program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu had a lecture on ” Structural Optimization ” for students and lecturers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Naresuan University – Thailand.

On the same day, lecturers of the Faculty of Civil Engineering from both sides shared more about outstanding scientific researches from their faculty in order to open up the prospect of cooperation in developing scientific research projects between the two faculties. At the same time, the deans also discussed international student exchange programs and graduate training.
Located in Phitsanlolok city, the birthplace of King Naresuan (King of Thailand between 1590-1605), Naresuan University is one of the leading public universities in Thailand. Naresuan University is strategically located in the heart of the Kingdom of Thailand, the major city of the Lower North. Naresuan University offers programs ranging from health sciences to engineering and technology through 22 faculties, a college and a major hospital in Phitsanulok city operated by the university.
