ERASMUS Project “AsiaSafe” Coordinating Committee visits Nguyen Tat Thanh University
On April 22nd, 2022, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) welcomed the AsiaSafe project Coordinating Committee to visit and discuss on the implementation of The Capacity Building in Higher Education (E+CBHE)
Representing the AsiaSafe project Coordinating Committee, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. GhazwanAl-Haji – Project Manager; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khairir Khalil – Malaysian University of Science and Technology (MUST) – Project coordinator in the Asia-Pacific region, Prof. Premkumar Rajagopal – President of Malaysian University of Science and Technology (MUST), President of ISCEA Malaysia, Project Advisor of NTTU.
On the side of NTTU, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President; Dr. Thai Hong Thuy Khanh – NTTU local coordinator; Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy –Director of the Institute of Traffic Engineering and other department representatives also participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of NTTU expressed her appreciation to the Coordinating Committee for supporting the University in implementing the project. Dr. Nguyen Huu Huy also presented to the delegates the volume of work done by the Institute of Traffic Engineering during the project implementation. Dr. Thai Hong Thuy Khanh also talked about a number of tasks which require assistance from the Coordinating Committee so that NTTU could comply with the project regulations. In addition, Prof. Premkumar Rajagopal – Project Advisor of NTTU, gave instructions to the project team to ensure the implementation of the project as scheduled.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. GhazwanAl-Haji – Project coordinator also thanked NTTU for warmly welcoming the project team. During the meeting, the delegates also presented the basic information of the project in which the project is approved and funded by the European Commission (EU) with a total grant of 989,770 Euros; the project implementation period is 03 years from January 2021 to January 2024. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ghazwan also commits to support all partners during the project implementation to ensure the most successful outputs to be achieved on time according to the original plan.
