Conference and Dissemination Event: A European approach of Labour Market Observatory in Vietnam
NTTU – on 11 January 2023, Nguyen Tat Thanh University hosted the Conference and Dissemination Event: A European approach of Labour Market Observatory in Vietnam to enable students to have a full picture and holistic approach to domestic and international labour markets as well as provide the University and lecturers with methodology to produce qualified human resource for global labour demand.

Participants included Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President, speakers from the University of Padova (Italia), University of Salamanca (Spain), Nova University of Lisbon (Portugal), Hanoi University (HANU), Thai Nguyen University (TNU), Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), Hanoi University of Industry (HaUI), Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA); Guests of honours from University of Management and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City, University of Labour and Social Affairs, Foreign Trade University, Saigon University, the Vietnam National Institute of Educational Sciences, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry and top leaders (Chairman, Vice Chairman, CEO,..) from more than 50 enterprises and hundreds of students.

The event aimed to provide employers, lecturers, and students with significant information of professional figures from Labmovie project results in three different sectors. Presentations were delivered by researchers from NTTU and HAUI (ICT sector), VNUA (Agrifood sector), and HANU and TNU (Tourism sector). Concerns from audiences over approach to conduct surveys, solutions to improve training quality and forcast the market demand, challenges faced during the surveys and project implementation, and benefits that stakeholders may enjoy over from the project, ect. were addressed.

Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President shared: “I strongly believe that Nguyen Tat Thanh University and all partner universities will thoroughly enjoy over the project results, update and expand this rerearch model into more sectors to make the Observatory platform a more comprehensive database”.
Also, as part of the Labour Market Observatory in Vietnam Universities international project, Transnational meetings were held at Nguyen Tat Thanh University on 9th & 10th January, 2023 where all partner universities reported the project results, dissemination action plans and management works to reach the deadline at the end of 2023.
