Workshop on “Preparing NTTU students for digital transformation integration – Domestic and international practices on digital transformation of enterprises” to celebrate Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day.
NTTU – On October 15th, 2022, Nguyen Tat Thanh University organized a business meeting and workshop on “Preparing NTTU students for digital transformation integration – Domestic and international experiences on digital transformation of enterprises”, celebrating the Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day (October 13th).
Attending the event, there were Ms. Tran Thi Le Hang – the Office Head of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee; Mr. Dang Hong Ky – Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City Business Association; Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh – Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Support Center (SMEPC); Mr. Truong Sy – Member of Executive Board of Binh Tan District Business Association, Ms. Nguyen Xuan Thao – Deputy Chief of Office of VOCA Vietnam Cosmetic Essential Oil, Aroma Association; Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Loan, Vice President of the New Age Entrepreneurs Club.
The event honorably received the participation of speakers: Mr. Wilson Lieu – CEO of Next Academy; Mr. Ngo Van Toan – CEO of the Atademy; Mr. Vu Tung Lam – Senior Consultant of DIGIWIN Software Vietnam JSC.
Representatives from Nguyen Tat Thanh University included Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President; Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice President; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Manager of Department of Corporate Relations and Job Placement for Students; Ms. Duong Thi Kim Xoa – Deputy Manager of the Department of Department of Corporate Relations and Job Placement for Students; together with many leaders of faculties, departments, divisions, and more than 100 businessmen, lecturers and 500 students.
“In the context of promoting the cooperation between universities and businesses in many countries around the world, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is also one of pioneers to successfully build the Nguyen Tat Thanh Business Club. In the past year, the university has developed and implemented a cooperation model, training projects associated with enterprises, actively built a network of thousands of lecturers invited from enterprises participating in designing and teaching in the training programs. Students access to practical environments, since then improving professional competencies and quickly adapting to the changes”, said Dr. Tran Ai Cam – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

In addition to express gratitude to businesses that have contributed to the development of the university in recent years, there was a signing ceremony for the cooperation between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and NEXTPAY Digital Transformation Group Joint Stock Company and GS 25 Vietnam LLC. The signing opens up opportunities and facilitates students to seek internships and practice at those enterprises.

The workshop was divided into three topics, including: “Digital transformation for small and medium enterprises & Digital transformation approaches for NTTU students and skills needed when participating in the digital transformation system” by Mr. Wilson Lieu – CEO of NextAcademy; “Digital transformation in Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises – Skills needed for Gen Z ” by Mr. Vu Tung Lam – Senior consultant of DIGIWIN Vietnam Software JSC; “How is the digital transformation in the context of B2B for businesses? What are the opportunities for NTTU students to participate in the system and explore the platform to equip more knowledge and skills” by Mr. Ngo Van Toan – CEO of Atademy, Deputy General Director of Atalink Technology Company cum Vice President of Vietnam Digital Technology Alliance (VNITO Alliance), followed by the introduction of LAB-MOVIE Project by Mr. Tran Binh Hau – Manager of Information Management Department – Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
It can be said that these are one of the most concerned topics for NTTU students to understand more about the development trend of society and nessesary skills to meet requirements of the businesses.
Being an application-oriented training university, over the years, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has continuously innovated its training programs and teaching methods to meet requirements of society. The university has pioneered in building a model of collaboration between the university and businesses. Annually, the university cooperates with the NTT Business Club to organize job fairs, meetings and direct recruitment with many businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces, connecting more than 2,500 businesses and creating thousands of jobs each year for students. In addition to participating in training, businesses also support the university for offering internships, creating conditions for students to work as full-time employees at enterprises.
