1000 Books received from Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City and Chibooks Company

NTTU – On November 17, 2023, the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City and Chi Culture Joint Stock Company (Chibooks) awarded the “Lan Toa Yeu Thuong” Bookcase with nearly 1,000 books to the Nguyen Tat University library.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of the University, thanked the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City and Van Hoa Chi Joint Stock Company for visiting, signing a cooperation agreement and donating books to the University’’s library. At the same time, Dr. Tran Ai Cam also hopes that there will be more cooperation between the University and its partners in the future.

Mr. Tu Chau, Acting Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, expressed his desire to connect the young generation of Vietnam and China through developing reading culture, enhancing mutual understanding and opening a new model, new form of cultural exchange between the two countries.

Ms. Nguyen Le Chi, one of the first people to buy foreign book copyrights in Vietnam – Director – Van Hoa Chi Joint Stock Company said that with the goal of bringing books closer to young people, donating books aims to foster the spiritual life of young readers at NTTU, in addition to have the specialized books available at the school library, we hope that students will have more good books to read.

In addition to Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Van Hoa Chi Joint Stock Company awarded “Lan Toa Yeu Thuong” Bookcases to the libraries of many schools across the country through an extremely meaningful and valuable project with great humanity. That is to build 300 free Library Bookcases for elementary schools, middle schools, high schools and colleges and universities within 5 years (2020-2025).

Within the framework of the program, there was a signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Van Hoa Chi Joint Stock Company. This signing will mark an important milestone towards tightening the relationship. Cooperation between the two parties in coordinating training and learning from each other’s experiences. At the same time, this is the way to promote the capabilities and strengths of both sides in training, publishing, and organizing programs that bring practical value to students.
