Various scholarships covering up to 100% of tuition fees for candidates applying via academic transcripts at NTTU in 2024
NTTU – In recent years, besides considering admission methods that match students’ academic abilities, parents and students are also concerned about the scholarship policies of universities. In the context of a volatile economy, financial worries significantly impact school choice decisions, potentially creating a “barrier” that prevents many from pursuing their desired university environment.
Not only do diverse admission methods at Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) help students gain university entry, but they also offer opportunities for new students to receive valuable scholarships.
Currently, many universities across the country are implementing admission methods based on high school transcripts, with most of them accepting early application submissions. Even students who are currently in 12th grade can register for admission using a straightforward application process.
In 2024, Nguyễn Tất Thành University (NTTU) offers four admission methods.
For example, at NTTU, the application for admission based on high school transcripts includes the admission application form (according to the university’s template), a certified photocopy of the high school transcript, a certified photocopy of the high school diploma or a temporary high school graduation certificate. Twelfth-grade students can submit the admission application form and a certified photocopy of the high school transcript in advance to be prioritized in the admission process (the certified photocopy of the temporary high school graduation certificate will be supplemented later).
To apply for admission based on high school transcripts, candidates need to have a minimum admission score set by NTTU. Specifically:
With this admission score, candidates can comfortably choose to study in a wide range of fields that are currently “hot” including Health Sciences, Arts, Business, Law, IT, Engineering, Architecture, Tourism, etc. Particularly, there are fields that have been attracting a lot of interest from applicants for many years such as Pharmacy, Vocal Music, Directing, System Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Fashion Design, etc.
For the group of majors in the Health and Preschool Education cluster, the admission criteria based on high school transcripts are applied according to the quality standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training.
Regarding the application process, candidates can submit their applications directly at the university, apply online, or send their application via post to the Admissions Office of Nguyen Tat Thanh University:

To acknowledge the efforts and achievements of students in their academic journey, and to support parents, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has been offering various scholarships over the years. In 2024, NTTU has introduced scholarships with attractive percentages ranging from 20%, 30%, 40%, and even up to 100% of tuition fees for the first academic year.

Specifically, candidates who enroll before September 15, 2024, and have won prizes in provincial or national academic competitions, art competitions, or are in difficult circumstances, female students applying to majors such as System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, Computer Science, Architecture, or are the top students of their intake, have the opportunity to receive various valuable scholarships: Encouragement Scholarship (worth 10,000,000 VND); Commuting Support Scholarship (20% or 40% reduction); Female Student Scholarship (20% reduction); Talent Scholarship (50% reduction); Top Student Advancement Scholarship (100% reduction); NTTU Scholarship (20%, 25%, 50%, or 100% tuition fee reduction); and some other special scholarships according to the policies of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

All scholarships are not tied to the method of admission or the admission score. Therefore, candidates who are eligible for scholarships when applying for admission and “finalize early” by the method of admission by academic record will not only reduce the pressure of exams but also secure scholarships at NTTU.
Another advantage is that admission by academic record is entirely equal to other methods such as admission by high school graduation exam scores and admission by the national high school graduation exam scores of the Ho Chi Minh City National University. Therefore, regardless of the admission method, candidates are still recognized as being admitted to regular university programs, studying the same curriculum and using the same learning facilities, and participating in practical experience and business realities regularly as guided by NTTU’s practical application-oriented training direction.
