The online meeting to carry out the international project on Labour Market Observatory in Vietnam Universities (LaB-Movie)
After a long time of being affected by the Covid – 19 pandemic, in the afternoon of 12 May, 2020, members of the LAB-MOVIE Project held the online meeting to discuss and agree on the work-package implementation plan for the next stages. In particular, the parties reached an agreement on the schedule (expected) to report on results of work pack 1 in September 2020 via online conference tools and Nguyen Tat Thanh University will hold a conference to report on the results of the second work package in December 2020 (estimated).

Partners of the project are institutes from Italy, Spain, Portugal and Vietnam, in which Nguyen Tat Thanh University is the only higher education institute in the Southern of Vietnam to join the project as leader on IT and telecommunication industry.
The LAB-MOVIE project is funded by Erasmus+ to carry out surveys, statistics and develop an observatory on employment positions at enterprises coming from three main sectors: Telecommunication & IT, Tourism and Agri-food with needs of skills, qualifications and other related factors. Since then, students could orient their career path to ensure meeting the needs of companies even though they are still on class. Besides, it also supports lecturers to have the appropriate teaching plan with skills as required by enterprises and the project supports enterprises to expand the workforce development to meet their recruitment needs.
Dr. Nguyen Tuan Anh – Vice President – Project Manager representing Nguyen Tat Thanh University, giving his comments: “we hope that good results of the LAB-MOVIE project shall create the foundation for next projects in other training fields with many other partners not only in European countries but also in other regions and territories.”
