The training course lasted for 4 days, with each session lasting 5 periods (50 minutes each), closely following the actual training program. This structure helped the lecturers understand the students’ experience so that they could manage time and the amount of knowledge being taught appropriately. The participants were not only trained in relevant specialized knowledge but also had the opportunity to enhance their university teaching skills through specialized topics and practical teaching exercises in class.

In addition, the participants were taught the “learning by doing” and gamification methods (learning through practice and learning through games). These are teaching methods that allow learners to experience in class and actively think according to their specific field of expertise, thereby drawing appropriate conclusions.

Ms. Huỳnh Hồng Mai stated: “Over the course of 4 days, the participants were introduced to the knowledge of Startup and Innovation training, applying scientific thinking tools to form startup ideas, develop models, create products, build business models, and ultimately complete the project proposal and investment pitching skills. These are all essential pieces of knowledge that anyone wishing to start a business must master. We are transferring all our personal experience to you, hoping to contribute to the ‘human development’ efforts of our lecturers. Ms. Huỳnh Hồng Mai also emphasized that the class not only demonstrates the effort and dedication of the teaching staff at Nguyen Tat Thanh University but also reflects the university’s determination in its mission to reach out to the world with the Startup University model.”

Dr. Nguyễn Thanh Phương expressed: “I have been teaching entrepreneurship for a long time, and I came to the class with an open mind to learn new things. Thank you to the organizers for holding such a meaningful program, and I believe we will be successful in the future.”

Besides the university lecturers participated, the class also included entrepreneurs and business managers/advisors. Mr. Nguyễn Xuân Duy – CEO of An Minh Phát Investment Joint Stock Company, shared: “I have nearly 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship, but participating in this training course has provided me with new and quite interesting experiences. The passion of the lecturers has fueled my enthusiasm, and I hope to use my experience to share with young students who have dreams of starting their own businesses.”

The fact that students at Nguyen Tat Thanh University are learning the subject of Entrepreneurship and Innovation has created a unique advantage, providing them with more opportunities to compete in their future careers. The university will also continue to dedicate itself to improving the quality of education, creating a favorable environment for students to fully develop themselves and be prepared for an increasingly competitive labor market.
