In the series of activities celebrating the Ben Tre Coconut Festival 2019, during 2 days on November 15th and 16th 2019, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), in cooperation with Science & Technology Club of Technological universities and People’s Committee of Ben Tre Province organizes the 55th Conference between Science-Technology club of Technological universities at Ben Tre Province’s Youth Centre.
NTTU is one of the 26 members of Science & Technology Club (STC) of Technological universities and also the conference organizer in 2019.
STC of Technological universities is an organization in Science & Technology of Vietnamese universities combining 26 members which are universities specializing in the fields of industrial engineering, computer science, communication, transportation, irrigation, construction, environment, etc. STC’s mission is to connect multidisciplinary researches conducted by member universities nationwide into a network, which aims to create strengths to resolve scientific and technological tasks of localities across the country.
The conference, themed “Science & Technology club of Technological universities with start-up activities and creative innovation of Ben Tre Province”, aims to improve research capability, networking opportunities for lecturers/researchers to meet, exchange and share with highly-cited researchers in Vietnam in order to enhance NTTU’s reputation in scientific research and training as demonstration for community engagement of QS Asia and QS World University Rankings. In addition, this conference will reinforce cooperation, partnerships and connections to demonstrate the potential, strengths, opportunities and human resources in developing science & technology of Ben Tre province to STC of Technological universities (26 members in many fields of industrial technology, computer science, IT, communication, transportation, irrigation, construction, environment, etc.).
The 55th conference will expand collaborations between scientists of STC, People’s committee and local departments of Ben Tre Province to resolve critical scientific and technological tasks of the Province, especially Mekong Delta region and other provinces, cities across the country.
The conference is also accompanied by businesses, such as VinTech City under Vingroup Joint Stock Company – one of the main conference sponsors. Through this conference, VinTech City will sign a science and technology cooperative agreement with NTTU. VinTech City will also provide NTTU and nationwide universities with their company supporting scientific and technological research activities and training human resources for high-tech industries.
