B2B connecting Coffee – Isolated but not indifferent

NTTU – on September 26th, 2021, Nguyen Tat Thanh University successfully organized the online Business Club Meeting and B2B connecting coffee. In spite of the period of isolation and working from home due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the program still attracted the participation of a large number of representatives from businesses, leaders and lecturers of the university.

The Business Club Meeting is an annual program aiming for connecting and developing business relations, creating a practical and effective connection between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and businesses. It is also a forum for businesses to discuss and comment on improving the quality of education, innovating methods of teaching, and engaging with businesses to train practical programs at enterprises, helping students practice skills in addition to cultivating professional knowledge to become good workers.

Speaking at the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President of the University sent her sincere thanks to businesses and lecturers who attended the program and accompanied the university and students during the past time. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong highly appreciated the benefits of the B2B connecting coffee program, and would like to expand activities for businesses to have a playground for exchanges and sharing experiences in the process of establishing a business. Besides, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong sent words of encouragement and sharing to businesses affected by the Covid-19 epidemic with the hope that the pandemic would be ended and operations would be back to normal soon.

Within the framework of the program, MSc. Bui Tuyet Van – Vice Director of AFC Vietnam Auditing Co. Ltd. presented the key impacts of the Covid-19 epidemic on corporate financial statements, and also raised issues when preparing and approving financial statements. It could be said that this is the topic drawing the attention of many businesses with a series of questions and problems that need to be answered from the speakers. Therefore, the guests of the program can consult and learn lessons as well as experiences from businesses participating in the program.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Departments of Science and Technology at provinces and cities cut the ribbon to inaugurate the Center for Technology Supply and Demand Connection in January 2021.

At the program, Nguyen Tat Thanh University introduced its Southern supply and demand connection point which is one of 12 supply and demand connection points across the country, the Southern Supply and Demand Connection Point – Nguyen Tat Thanh University will be a place for surveying databases in technology, technical consulting, technology connection, technology introduction and performance, technical training. In particular, at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there are many scientists and researchers with many products and technology development topics that can support businesses to improve their technology, and also support for technology introductions across the country.

It can be seen that the activities of supply and demand connection will promote technology transfer, application and commercialization of technology research results, contributing to the development of the technology market, serving enterprises in technological innovation and new product development, enhancing competitiveness in the city and throughout the country, applying science and technology into production, business and socio-economic development.

In addition, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has informed postgraduate programs, undergraduate programs of distance learning system, undergraduate programs for the second degree…in order to create conditions for businesses to have the opportunity to improve their skills, professional knowledge, and also be a prerequisite to become guest lecturers at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
