Strategic partnership signing ceremony between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and partners

NTTU – On February 14, 2025, at the 300A campus of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, the strategic partnership signing ceremony took place between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and two important partners: Voyage Group Joint Stock Company – Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW) and Ecreati Co., Ltd., a member of the Leather & Hide Council of America (LHCA). The ceremony was held solemnly and successfully, marking an important step in the development of the Fashion Design industry at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

The event was honored to welcome the presence of many important guests, including: Dr. Nguyen Quynh Nhu – Violinist and Senior Advisor, Head of the Southern Organizing Committee for Global Student Fashion Week; Dr. Ly Thi Mai – Vice Director of the Vietnam Costume Research Institute and Advisor for Global Student Fashion Week; Mrs. Nguyen Minh Tram – Deputy Director of Ecreati Co., Ltd., a member of the Leather & Hide Council of America (LHCA); Ms. Sally Nguyen – Director of Q&S Entertainment; Mr. Vu Thai – President of Miss Celebrity Vietnam and Manager of Global Miss/Mr. World; Ms. Truong Thuy Trang – Miss Celebrity Vietnam 2024 and Global Ambassador for GSFW; Mr. Doan Bao An – Mister Celebrity Vietnam 2024 and Global Ambassador for GSFW; Mrs. Vu Tuyet Nhi – CEO of HIENTJE Fashion Design Company and 1st Runner-up of Miss Glam Business; Designer HIENTJE NGUYEN from the Netherlands.

From Nguyen Tat Thanh University, the event was attended by: Dr. Tran Ai Cam – the University President; Mr. Pham Van Dat – Head of the Department of Corporate Relations and Job Placement for Students; Mrs. Duong Thi Kim Xoa – Deputy Head; Dr. Vu Huyen Trang – Head of the Fashion Design Department, Institute of Creative Design and Business; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Head of the Corporate Management  and Technology Department, Institute of Design and Creative Business; Dr. Hoang Thinh Nhan – Head of the Technology and Innovation Department, Institute of Design and Creative Business.

In her opening speech at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, expressed her honor in signing the cooperation agreement with reputable strategic partners in the global fashion industry. This marks an important milestone in the development journey of the Fashion Design program at the Institute of Creative Design and Business at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. This collaboration not only creates opportunities for students to access new trends but also helps students enhance their skills and knowledge in an international environment, while supporting businesses in accessing young, talented, and creative human resources.

The partnership with Voyage – Global Student Fashion Week

Nguyen Tat Thanh University collaborates with Voyage Group Joint Stock Company as part of the Global Student Fashion Week (GSFW), the world’s first fashion week exclusively for fashion students. GSFW, with the mission of creating a new era for the global fashion industry, will take place in December 2025 in Hanoi, gathering 150 designers from 30 educational institutions worldwide, along with the participation of over 450 beauty queens, kings, and 900 dancers. This event provides Nguyen Tat Thanh University students with the opportunity not only to interact and learn from international experts but also to directly showcase their designs during a prestigious fashion week.

With the participation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, students will be professionally trained and prepared to take part in international fashion events, thereby enhancing their creative abilities and connecting with industry partners and experts.

In her speech, Dr. Nguyen Quynh Nhu, Violinist and Senior Advisor, Head of the Southern Organizing Committee for Global Student Fashion Week, emphasized the importance of this event in enhancing the value of the Vietnamese fashion industry on the international stage. She also expressed strong confidence in the potential success of this partnership and affirmed her commitment to accompany Nguyen Tat Thanh University in future projects.

In addition to its partnership with Voyage, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has also signed a cooperation agreement with Ecreati Co., Ltd., a member of the Leather & Hide Council of America (LHCA). Together with Ecreati, the University will organize the international Creative Leather Design competition named “Real Leather. Stay Different Vietnam 2025.” This competition aims to discover and honor young design talents with a passion for creativity, with the goal of bringing sustainable fashion products that beautifully blend creativity and the natural beauty of leather.

The competition will take place from March to July 2025, with the final round expected to be held in Ho Chi Minh City. This is an opportunity for Nguyen Tat Thanh University students to showcase their talent in design and explore sustainable fashion trends, while also applying technology in production.
