Promote scientific research and application transfer through university-level research projects
From August 25 to 28, 2021, Nguyen Tat Thanh University held a meeting to review and approve university-level research topics from faculties such as Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology, Faculty of Information Technology and Institute of Advanced Agrobiology Research and Development through an online platform.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President participated as chairman of the Evaluation and Approval Committees of university-level research projects, together with scientists and experts from different institutes such as Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Saigon University, NTT Institute of Technology, Tay Nguyen University, Institute of Applied Materials Science.
Some research projects have been approved, such as “Modeling and verifying SDN under multi-control architecture by CSP process algebra” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Cong Vinh (Faculty of Information Technology); “Development of test standards for tablets containing sildenafil citrate” of MSc. Nguyen Hoang Thao My (Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology); “The situation of mold infection in some medicinal herbs commercialized in District 5–HCMC” by MSc. Le Quang Hanh Thu (Faculty of Medical Laboratory Technology); “Application of technology to create human skin models used for students to practice wound care” by MSc. Nguyen Thi Huynh Lan (Faculty of Medicine).
In addition to the approval of the research results, the committee also reviews the university-level topics, including the project “Research and evaluation the effects of night break (nb) caused by LED lights on the growth and inhibition of flowering of chrysanthemum plants on hydroponic systems” by MSc. Truong Thanh Hung (Institute of Advanced Agrobiology Research and Development); “Modeling and verifying the PSO memory model by CSP process algebra” by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Cong Vinh (Faculty of Information Technology).
Some topics are reviewed and approved by the committee
In the context of the complicated development of the Covid epidemic, the practical and clinical learning of students in some fields such as engineering, technology, and health sciences encountered many obstacles. With the research findings tested and approved in the past, for example in building learning models, simulation devices, and software based on 4.0 technology, these have contributed to improving the quality of teaching, creating visual learning materials to support students in various disciplines such as engineering, technology, and health sciences in improving learning quality.
Nguyen Tat Thanh University proposes that the future research projects to be implemented will focus on applying technology to create products for training, especially online training in the new circumstances; applying 4.0 technology to solve local problems and satisfy demands. These research directions meet practical needs, serve the community, in line with the government’s policy of digital transformation in the context of the 4.0 revolution. Based on that, promoting the development of high-quality research directions in line with the regional integration to contribute to improving the quality of training, scientific research, technology transfer and community service at the Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
