PROJECT OF A COMPLETE ONLINE TRAINING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AT NGUYEN TAT THANH UNIVERSITY INITIATED
From February to May 2020, in the face of the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, to minimize learning and teaching interuption, and ensure the training progress of the whole university, based on current technology, human resources and the database system, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has decided to employ online training method for about 1,000 theoretical and theoretical – practicing classes in 12 faculties.
Also during this period, The Francophone University Agency (AUF) announced the full or partial online training project to help universities overcome the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. It is evident that online training, for the long run, is going to be an integral part of the development and internationalization strategy of any university.

With an established background in online training, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, an observation member of AUF, had applied and was sponsored by AUF to build a complete online training system at international standards, with a total budget of 33,520 EUR, of which AUF sponsors 7,000 EUR.

The expected outcomes of the projects are:
1. A complete online training management system in place
2. An improved online training technical system
3. A comprehensive train – the- trainer program that helps improve online training capacity for teachers and students of the University;
4. Pilot online training courses for regular training programs;
5. A complete set of criteria and tools to ensure the quality of online training, being the basis for the University to operate, develope and improve its online training system toward international standards.
Participating in the project helps Nguyen Tat Thanh University to standardize its online training system, that would well benefit the University’s operators, lecturers and students.
