NTTU Continues Partnership in Organizing LeX 2025
Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) will once again serve as a trusted educational partner, joining efforts to organize and implement the program in Vietnam, which is scheduled to officially take place in October 2025.
The delegation from Singapore Polytechnic was led by Mr. Wee Eng Soon, Program Manager of Learning Express (LeX), along with program staff and experts. Representing NTTU in welcoming the delegation were Mr. Le Quang Khanh, MA – Head of the Office of International Affairs; Dr. Le Nguyen (Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology); Dr. Vu Huyen Trang (NTT Institute of International Education); and Ms. Luu Thi My Ngoc, MA (Faculty of Pharmacy), along with many lecturers and staff from various departments across the university.
As part of the survey, the delegation visited Cu Chi District (Ho Chi Minh City), focusing on traditional craft villages such as handmade bamboo weaving, handicraft production, and traditional rice paper making—locations rich in potential for developing innovative community-based projects. The team also visited and worked at NTTU’s campuses in District 12 and the High-Tech Park to discuss and plan collaborative activities for students as part of the upcoming “LeX 2025” program.
LeX – Bridging Creative Thinking and Sustainable Development
Learning Express (LeX) is a student exchange program initiated by Singapore Polytechnic, designed to foster design thinking and problem-solving skills in a cross-cultural, community-based context. Students from various countries collaborate on real-world field projects, where they “listen” to local communities, identify challenges, and co-create innovative, human-centered, and feasible solutions.
By partnering in the implementation of LeX 2025, Nguyen Tat Thanh University not only contributes to enhancing students’ creative thinking, social entrepreneurship, and international integration skills, but also affirms its commitment to a sustainable, humanistic, and community-connected education. This collaboration also marks a new milestone in the university’s international education strategy, reinforcing its pioneering role in integrating advanced educational models into its curriculum and expanding opportunities for students to develop comprehensive skills in the era of globalization.
