NTTU English Zone hosts “Be Healthy – Be Attractive”
NTTU – With the aim of creating a fun space and an environment for practicing, exchanging, and improving English skills, as well as supporting the professional work and teaching of all faculty and staff at the university, the English Club at Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU English Zone) recently collaborated with the Faculty of Pharmacy to organize a meeting themed “Be Healthy – Be Attractive,” featuring a variety of engaging activities.
Attending the event were Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nghia – Vice dean, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ms. Luu Nguyen Duc Hanh – Vice dean, the Faculty of Nursing, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Thong – Deputy Head of the International Cooperation Office, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Sao Mai, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Lien, Ms. Nguyen Thanh To Nhi, Ms. Luu Thi My Ngoc, and Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Uyen – Lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy. Additionally, faculty and staff from various departments, faculties, institutes, and centers of the university were also present.

The meeting was lively and dynamic, featuring organized and collaborative activities. It began with the “Warm-Up Games,” which included the vocabulary game “Guess the Word related to Juice Ingredients” and “Unscrambled Word.” Following that was the competition segment, “Understanding Basic Medicinal Herbs and Introducing Detox Drink Recipes.” Here, participants were provided vocabularies and sample sentences for discussion, aimed at enhancing their English communication skills. Finally, the “Idea Sharing” allowed participants to express their views on “Ways to Stay Healthy.” Each participant shared their personal methods and knowledge for achieving a “healthy life.”

At the end of the meeting, each group presented on the functions and preparations of various ingredients used for detox juice based on the knowledge provided by the organizers or researched online. Additionally, each group showcased their prepared detox juice in English and invited attendees to taste their signatures.

Through the meeting organized by the English Club leaders in collaboration with various university units (including the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Business Administration, NIIE, Faculty of Pharmacy, etc.) and other departments, faculty and staff were provided with a practical environment to practice their English speaking skills. This initiative contributed to enhancing the quality of teaching and promoting international cooperation activities in line with the university’s development strategy.
Founded in May 2024, with the support of a large number of faculty, staff, and university leadership, the English Club at Nguyen Tat Thanh University has held useful, practical, and engaging meetings. These activities contribute to enhancing English language proficiency as the university moves toward integration with the global community.
