Nguyen Tat Thanh University welcomed a preliminary survey team to accredit the training program of Pharmacy at undergraduate level

NTTU – In the morning of December 16, the external accrediting team of the Center for Education Accreditation (VNU-HCM) had a working meeting at Nguyen Tat Thanh University to conduct a preliminary assessment to assess the quality of the Bachelor of Pharmacy.

Participating in the survey, the assessment team included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh, Dean, Library and Information Technology Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HC, Head of delegation; Dr. Nguyen Thi Huyen, Head of Inspection – Legal Department – Intellectual Property, University of Natural Sciences, VNU HCMC, Secretary; with the members: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Dai Nghiep, Head of External Relations Department, Hanoi University of Science, Vietnam National University HCMC; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, Former Head of Science and Technology Department, National University of Ho Chi Minh City; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Hanh Nga, Former Dean, Department of Social Work, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU HCMC; Bui Thi Nhu Hue, Deputy Head of Education Quality Evaluation Department, Center for Education Accreditation, VNU-HCM.

At the meeting, the external accrediting team checked the preparation of evidences, visited some places such as departments, library centers, labs of the Pharmacy Faculty, etc. The university and the accrediting team discussed and agreed on the plan, the requirements for evidence demonstration, the number and the subjects to be interviewed in the upcoming official assessment in December.

At the end of the preliminary assessment session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh representing the Center for Education Accreditation – VNU-HCMC and Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh – Vice President – Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy Nguyen Tat Thanh University signed the minutes of completing the preliminary survey of quality assessment of Pharmaceutical training program. The official survey time of the external accrediting team is agreed from December 24, 2019 to December 26, 2019.
