Nguyen Tat Thanh University visits the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese
On March 4, 2022, delegates of Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) and representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese attended a friendly meeting at the Headquarters of the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in Ho Chi Minh City
From NTTU, there was the presence of Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President; Mr. Huynh Trong Tri – Head of Human Resources Department; Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh – Deputy Head of Quality Assurance Department; Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Linh – Deputy Chief of the University’s administrative office; Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Kieu – Director of Library and Information Center. On the side of the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Mr. Phung Cong Dung – Chairman of the Committee; Mr. Vo Thanh Chat – Vice Chairman of the Committee; Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Lan – Head of Cultural Department and all staff of the Department also attended the meeting.
At the meeting, on behalf of the University, Dr. Tran Ai Cam thanked Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese for their interest and support in sponsoring many precious books, contributing greatly to bringing advanced knowledge to students, lecturers, and researchers of NTTU.

Moreover, Dr. Tran Ai Cam also expressed her wishes to continue receiving the assistance from the Committee for Overseas Vietnamese in the book donation project by Dr. Vo Ta Han; connecting and inviting overseas Vietnamese to participate in teaching and scientific research activities; connecting with overseas businesses of overseas Vietnamese to create more opportunities for students to undertake internships… This contributes to improving the quality of teaching and learning for lecturers and students at the University, hence enhancing high-quality human resources for our society.
At the end of the meeting, NTTU’s representatives gave gifts and flowers to thank the Ho Chi Minh City Committee for Overseas Vietnamese.

On January 6, 2021, NTTU received more than 1,000 books given to the Library and Information Center. The book donation is sponsored by Dr. Vo Ta Han, an American Vietnamese, which is part of a project to donate books to universities in Vietnam for research and teaching purposes.
