Nguyen Tat Thanh University signs MOU with Adamson University – Philippines
NTTU – On June 22, 2022 at campus 300A Nguyen Tat Thanh, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) and Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM, President of Adamson University (AdU), Philippines, exchanged and signed an educational cooperation agreement based on the strength of the two universities.
Adamson University was represented by Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim, CM – President, Sr. Maruja S. Padre Juan, MSc. – Director, Office for University Relations, Engr. Jerome Famadico – Representative of Faculty of Civil Engineering. From Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there was the presence of Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Truong Vu – Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Le Quang Khanh, MBA – Head of International Relations Department, Le Huu Vy, MSc. – Vice Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering, Nguyen Quoc Trung, MSc. – Vice Dean of Faculty of Civil Engineering and lecturers of the Faculty and Department.

At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University gave an overview of the university and hoped that there would be more opportunities for cooperation between NTTU and AdU in teaching, scientific research, and exchange of activities between lecturers and students.

Speaking at the MOU signing ceremony, Fr. Marcelo V. Manimtim – President of AdU affirmed that with available resources, Adamson University is always ready to cooperate and accompany Nguyen Tat Thanh University to improve the training quality and reputation of the two universitites. At the same time, the University will always create conditions and opportunities for Vietnamese students to attend the learning environment at AdU.

At the exchange and cooperation program in the field of Civil Engineering, representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering from the two universities discussed the development of a number of research and visiting exchange programs and joint study programs. In addition, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Nguyen Tat Thanh University was invited to participate in the review committee of a number of typical undergraduate and graduate theses selected from the Faculty of Civil Engineering – Adamson University. The contents of the signing include: Exchange of faculty members and researchers; Exchange undergraduate and graduate students; Organize research projects to publish research results in specialized research journals; Organizing academic seminars and workshops for research and education activities; Developing specific cooperation programs; Developing cultural exchange activities between the two countries.
