Nguyen Tat Thanh University signs a cooperation agreement with Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
NTTU – The signing ceremony of the training cooperation agreement between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City (VTV9) took place on the afternoon of June 5th at VTV9. Dr. Tran Ai Cam – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, journalist Tu Luong – Director of Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City, and journalist Ngo Truong Son – Deputy Director of Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City, attended the signing ceremony.
Attendance at the signing ceremony also included Dr. Nguyen Kieu Phat – Head of the Training Management Department, Mr. Bui Quang Trung – Head of the Communications Department, along with several faculty members from the School of Creative Communications. Several journalists who head production departments at VTV9 were also present at the signing ceremony.

In the scope of the collaboration, Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City – VTV9 will cooperate with Nguyen Tat Thanh University to support the university’s students in their annual internship programs, based on the center’s capacity to accept interns. During the internship period, VTV9 will also appoint a trainer to provide additional training in production skills and equipment usage. Additionally, VTV9 will coordinate opportunities for Nguyen Tat Thanh University students to visit and participate in practical learning experiences, orientation sessions, and station events.
Besides that, Nguyen Tat Thanh University will send experienced lecturers and experts to participate in advanced training courses on journalism skills, new trends in media, as well as methods of media organization and new production techniques for reporters and editors at Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City – VTV9.
The cooperation agreement between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City – VTV9 is one of the university’s efforts to provide students with opportunities to enhance professional skills, learn about media production for broadcasting, and adapt to the high-pressure environment of practical work.
Speech at the signing ceremony, TS. Tran Ai Cam expressed hopes that the collaboration between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Vietnam Television Center in Ho Chi Minh City – VTV9 will open up many opportunities, providing conditions for the university’s students, especially those in Public Relations and Multimedia Communication, to experience and apply what they have been trained in the production of media products at one of the largest government media agencies.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University also commits to faithfully and responsibly implement the agreements signed by both parties.
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, the delegation from Nguyen Tat Thanh University visited some modern film sets and newsrooms at VTV9
In the past academic year, the Creative Communications Department of Nguyen Tat Thanh University has collaborated with VTV9 to bring hundreds of students to gain practical experience and tour technical television equipment and production processes. Many Public Relations students from the department have completed their internship here, participating in news production alongside journalists and having their work broadcasted on VTV9 channels. Next week, 10 Multimedia Communications students from the department will also begin their internship at VTV9, paired with journalists who will guide them through production and training to meet internship requirements. This model will be implemented annually.
The Faculty of Creative Communications also had its first cooperative activity after the signing ceremony: lecturers of the Faculty had 2 days of technical training (June 5 – 6) on creating television reportage content for digital platforms for a number of journalists from VTV9 and television stations in the Southeast region.
