Nguyen Tat Thanh University signed an MOU with 6 businesses and hosted a Talkshow for entrepreneurs, along with launching the Student Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition in 2024.

On the morning of June 10th, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with 6 businesses. The university also organized a Talkshow for entrepreneurs and launched the Student Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition 2024 under the theme “Innovative Entrepreneurship Challenges towards Sustainable Development Goals.” The event was jointly coordinated by NTTU, the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House, the Southern Entrepreneurship Advisory Council, and the NTTU Business Club.

Businesses participating in this signing with NTTU include: Mr. Hua Phu Doan – Chairman of NTTU Business Club; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai – Vice Chairman of the Board at PDCA Business Training School; Mr. Nguyen Van Toan Co – Chairman of the Board of Directors at Felix Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company; Ms. Vu Kim Anh – Deputy Director of the Business Research and Support Center BSA; Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung – Founder of SBOOKS Joint Stock Company; Ms. Vo Thi Khanh Ha – General Director of Unicoach Co., Ltd.

Guest representatives include: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy – Vice Chairman of the Southern Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship Support, co-organizer of the competition; Mr. Le Duy Dong – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vision Vietnam Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, Member of the Southern Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship Support; Ms. Do Nguyen Khanh Linh – Member of the Southern Advisory Council for Entrepreneurship Support; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thao – Director of Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House, Co-head of the Organizing Committee of the Creative Startup Competition 2024; Ms. Truong Dieu Oanh – Secretary of the National Startup Program at VCCI.

Representing NTTU at the event were: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bach Long Giang – Director of the Innovation and Incubation Center (NIIC), Head of the Program Organizing Committee; Ms. Nguyen Mai Thanh Truc – Deputy Secretary of the University’s Youth Union, Deputy Organizer of the competition, accompanied by faculty heads and deputies from various departments, faculties, and centers of the university.

At the launch of the “Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ideas Competition 2024”, Associate Professor Tran Thi Hong, Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, stated: “Through passion and perseverance in entrepreneurship, projects nurtured from our university’s innovative entrepreneurial activities have excelled in various startup competitions, winning numerous awards. Our university’s student entrepreneurship competition has garnered over 80 media mentions and articles, showcasing community trust and interest in NTTU’s entrepreneurial and innovative endeavors. These achievements reflect the university’s commitment to inspiring faculty, staff, and students to pursue their passions and dreams with an entrepreneurial spirit.”

17 mentors and 12 outstanding projects were honored to accompany the university’s entrepreneurial and innovative activities.

In addition, to promptly congratulate the teams that have achieved excellent results, the Board of Trustees of Nguyen Tat Thanh University has decided to commend the instructors guiding the teams and the projects participating in the competitions.

Within the framework of the launch event of the “Student Creative Entrepreneurship Ideas Competition 2024” at NTTU, a solemn kickoff ceremony was held. This annual competition organized by NTTU aims to provide a healthy playground to promote innovation and creativity in life, studies, and scientific research for students at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, as well as students at universities and colleges nationwide. The theme for the 2024 competition, “Challenges in Innovative Entrepreneurship towards Sustainable Development,” promises to be a meaningful and beneficial academic platform for all participating students.

NTTU expands its collaboration “map” with 06 businesses.

One activity that has attracted the attention of students is the signing ceremony for the development of entrepreneurial innovation cooperation between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and the Business Club of Nguyen Tat Thanh University; PDCA Entrepreneur Training School; Felix Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company; Business Research and Support Center BSA; SBOOKS Joint Stock Company; and Unicoach Education Services Company Limited. This collaboration opens up many opportunities for students in entrepreneurial activities and innovation.

NTTU students “pocketed” practical knowledge “from industry insiders” at the Entrepreneur Exchange Talkshow.

Right after the signing ceremony, the Entrepreneur Exchange Talkshow took place with participation and sharing from guests including Mr. Nguyễn Anh Dũng – Founder of SBOOKS Joint Stock Company, Executive Committee Member of the Southern Entrepreneurship Advisory Council; Mr. Lê Duy Đồng – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tầm nhìn Việt Textile Company, Member of the Southern Entrepreneurship Advisory Council; and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of PDCA Business Training School, Member of the Southern Entrepreneurship Advisory Council. Throughout the talkshow, speakers interacted with students on topics such as (1) The entrepreneurial journey of industry insiders, stories of challenges from the early days of seeking individual clients to securing large contracts, serving as motivation for students on their entrepreneurial path; (2) Experiences in entrepreneurial training and important tips for students; (3) Courage and initiative in the publishing industry, and the success story of becoming a key player in the market.

Additionally, the entrepreneurs shared and addressed questions from students, clarifying various issues related to team management, maintaining motivation, resolving funding sources, finding suppliers, and the importance of having comprehensive knowledge of marketing to effectively convey product messages to consumers.

The organizers of the program presented letters of appreciation and vibrant flower bouquets to the esteemed entrepreneurs who participated in the exchange.

The talk show has brought a lot of emotions and positive energy to the students. It is believed that the valuable insights from the entrepreneurs will serve as wonderful assets for students to learn, grow, and have the right direction to develop themselves on their entrepreneurial and innovative journey in the future.
