Nguyen Tat Thanh University participates in The Innovative Entrepreneurship Day in Mekong Delta 2020, Ben Tre Province (Techfest Mekong 2020)
On November 21 and 22, 2020, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) participated in the The Innovative Entrepreneurship Day in Mekong Delta 2020 – Techfest Mekong 2020, held in Ben Tre Province.

Techfest Mekong 2020 is an important event, in collaboration of departments, organizations, individuals, and entrepreneurship-supporting networks within Mekong Delta region and the whole country, jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology. This is also an opportunity to promote NTTU’s images and strengthen cooperation for the mutual development of science and technology between participants and Ben Tre Province in particular, as well as local provinces within Mekong Delta region in general, in order to foster start-up programs.

NTTU participated in Techfest Mekong 2020 with a booth displaying products generated by the findings of research projects in the field of science and technology, and university-level start-up competitions. At the exhibition, NTTU honored to welcome Deputy Minister Tran Van Tung – Ministry of Science and Technology and party leaders from the Provincial Party Committee, Ben Tre Province People’s Committee, Department of Science and Technology and other provincial representatives in Mekong Delta region to visit and learn about our displayed products. Deputy Minister Tran Van Tung and other party leaders highly appreciated the scientific and technological activities of NTTU in which many products can be commercialized. In addition, it also helps to facilitate technology transfer and the economic development of local provinces in Mekong Delta region.

Throughout the activities of Techfest Mekong 2020, NTTU attended the Scientific Conference on Networking for Investment between Start-ups and Angel Camp, the Scientific Workshop on Collaborating to promote the development of Start-ups, Small and medium Enterprises in the New Normal context in association with the strengths of localities in Mekong Delta.

After Techfest Mekong 2020 in Ben Tre Provnce, the ‘RGB LEDs for agricultural activities’ project of the Institute of High Technology NTT – NTTU were selected to attend the upcoming National Techfest Vietnam 2020.
NTTU has always aimed to develop and promote science and technology activities towards the direction of applied research to improve the quality of training, technology transfer and community service, innovation and entrepreneurship, in order to upgrade the university’s scientific rankings domestically and internationally. Throughout the years, NTTU has strengthened cooperative research and technology transfer activities, implementation of research projects on practical products suitable to the needs of each locality in Mekong Delta region.
