Nguyen Tat Thanh University awarded a scholarship of 50% amount of the full course fee to student Phan Hieu Ngan
NTTU – On the afternoon of May 10, at the main campus of District 4, Nguyen Tat Thanh University held a ceremony to award scholarship and gift for a student with difficult circumstances trying to excel in their studies.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Xuan Khang – Director of Minh Ha Technology Development Co., Ltd., Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuu – Director of Nguyen and Associates International Law Company. On the side of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there was the presence of Dr. Hoang Huu Dung – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hanh Nguyen – Dean of Faculty of Architecture – Interior – Applied Fine Arts; Dr. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Head of Business Relations and Student Employment Department, Vice President of NTT Business Club with the presence of members of the Executive Committee of NTT Business Club, representatives of businesses, sponsors, ladies and gentlemen of some departments.
It is known that Phan Hieu Ngan is currently a student of Graphic Design, Faculty of Architecture – Interior – Applied Fine Arts. Her mother died early, 4 years later Ngan’s father also passed away, leaving only Ngan and his brother in the family. The life of the two brothers was extremely difficult, the older brother had to drop out of school to help his neighbors repair motorbikes, only Ngan was able to study until the end of high school thanks to the small amount of insurance money from her mother.
Phan Hieu Ngan is currently a student of Graphic Design, Faculty of Architecture – Interior – Applied Fine Arts with an orphan situation of both parents.
Going to university, even though she studied and worked more jobs to earn extra income, it was still not enough for Ngan to cover tuition fees and daily living expenses, Ngan’s studies seemed to have to stop for the studious girl. Understanding to the difficulties of student Phan Hieu Ngan, and at the same time, in order to support students with difficult circumstances to overcome learning difficulties, Ms. Nguyen Mai Lan, Chairwoman of the Council of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, gave her a special scholarship of 50% of the full course fee.
On behalf of the Council of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Dr. Hoang Huu Dung – Vice President, University Council member thanked businesses, sponsors, and benefactors who have accompanied the university not only in activities to support students in difficult circumstances but also in training, supporting practice places, internships and job placement for graduates. At the same time, Dr. Dung also sent encouragement to student Phan Hieu Ngan, hoping that with the support of the University, Hieu Ngan will make great efforts to study well, worthy of being a student under the university named Uncle Ho in his youth.

In addition, through mobilizing members, sponsors and benefactors, Nguyen Tat Thanh University Business Club has donated more than 45 million VND to student Phan Hieu Ngan, this money will be disbursed through the payment of tuition fees for the remaining academic years. Besides the cash, student Phan Hieu Ngan also received a laptop donated by Minh Ha Technology Development Co., Ltd. In addition, Ngan is also supported by businesses with internships, graduation thesis and professional job positions after graduation.

Ngan shared, with this support, Ngan will no longer have to worry about tuition fees in the coming years, so that the path to conquering her dreams can continue. At the same time, this is also a reminder for Ngan to always try, not give up and overcome her situation.
