Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Cho Ray Hospital have signed an agreement for training and scientific researching cooperation
A signing cooperation agreement ceremony between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Cho Ray Hospital was held on May 24th 2017 morning, at Cho Ray Hospital, 201B Nguyen Chi Thanh St. Dist.5 HCMC. It is an activity that fulfills the requirement of developing human resources of science and healthcare majors, trains medical teams to become efficient and virtual in public healthcare mission.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung, President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University and teaching staffs together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Truong Son, Director of Cho Ray Hospital and doctors and medical staffs had participated in the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, Cho Ray Hospital will assign medical staffs with high academic rank and workmanship to participate directly in managing and teaching Health Science (Nursing, Pharmacy, Engineering, General Health, and Preventive Medicine) students correspondent to the agreement of both sides. The hospital will be a place for teaching staffs and students to clinically practice about internal and external medicine or others medicines the hospital has; simultaneously, it is also a place for students to do their internship in order to practice and improve their skills and workmanship, become a virtual and efficient doctor in public healthcare mission.
This signing ceremony will bring the Healthcare majors’ students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University many opportunities to experience and work in a practical environment
Foreign professors, doctors and specialists of Nguyen Tat Thanh University will wholeheartedly support medical staffs who teach and train the students to gain knowledge and qualification. In correspondence to that, both sides also cooperate and do scientific research about General Heath major to improve the effectiveness of medical diagnosis and treatment, ensure the quality of medical treatment and healthcare for patients.
At the ceremony, on behalf of Nguyen Tat Thanh University’s Board of Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung had sent thanks to all the Board of Directors of the hospital who has facilitated the cooperation and support in improving the training quality of Health and medical majors of the university. This event will give students great chances to study and practice, through which the training quality of the Health major of the university will be improved.
