NTTU – October 7, 2020, at the ceremony marking the 16th Anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs’ Day and Honouring Outstanding Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of Ho Chi Minh City in 2020, held by The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations, Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung were honoured in two categories: “Outstanding Enterprise” and “Outstanding Entrepreneur”.

In 2020, there were 100 enterprises and 100 entrepreneurs recognized and awarded the Certificates of “Outstanding Enterprises of the City in 2020″ and “Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the City in 2020” by the HCM City People’s Committee. Those are enterprises and entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business, compliance with legislation and laws, and great contributions to the State budget which contributes to socio-economic development, building a city with a good quality of life, civilization and modernity.

At this year’s ceremony, Nguyen Tat Thanh University was honoured to be “Outstanding Enterprise of the City in 2020” with great contributions to the education and training of high-quality human resources for HCM City. At the same time, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung – President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University was also awarded the Certificate of “Outstanding Entrepreneur of the City in 2020” by the HCM City People’s Committee.

During 21 years of establishment and development, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has performed its mission well to provide high-quality human resources, meeting strict requirements of the labour market, being a well-known and good destination for all students all over the country to enhance knowledge and enrich society. Years by years, the University’s scale has been constantly expanding. The quality of its undergraduate and postgraduate programs has been constantly improved and step by step met the needs of international integration period, in which many programs are certified to meet quality standards nationally and internationally. In 2019, Nguyen Tat Thanh University was honoured to become the second university in Vietnam rated as a 4 star institution by the QS Stars (UK). In 2020, Nguyen Tat Thanh University was the first non-public university in Vietnam ranked as a 4-star institution by Higher Education Comparative Ranking System of universities in Vietnam and the region – University Performance Metrics (UPM).

Titles of Outstanding Enterprises and Entrepreneurs of Ho Chi Minh City in 2020 are those recognized and awarded by the HCM City People’s Committee and being held once every two years to honour and reward businesses and entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business, contributing to socio-economic development of the City.
