NTTU – “As a comprehensive partnership for many years, we have realized the tremendous development of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. Currently, Nguyen Tat Thanh University is one of the only two universities in Vietnam to achieve the 4-star rating certificate from the QS (UK), which inspires other higher education institutions to follow”, said Dr. Tran Ba Tien, a member of the Standing Committee and Vice President of Vinh University, attending the 21st anniversary of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Hien – Chairwoman of Ho Chi Minh City Intellectual Women’s Association; MSc. Ho Dac Hai Mien – Vice Director of VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation; Dr. Tran Ba Tien, a member of the Standing Committee and Vice President of Vinh University; MSc. Nguyen Hong Xoa – Head of General Administration Department of Vinh University; and the leaders, staff, lecturers as well as students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Looking back over the past 21 years, lecturers and students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University could be proud of its remarkable achievements as being recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training for the quality of education, and being granted a 4-star by the QS Organization (UK). Those achievements have come from the intellect, passions, relentless creativity for the education, and eternal values from each individual of the whole University, together with the trust of enterprises, parents and especially many generations of students studying at the University during the past time. The 100% of graduates to have jobs is a testament for the prestige and training quality of the University.

In the joyful atmosphere of the 21st anniversary, Nguyen Tat Thanh University officially announced to all honorable guests and partners on its 4 star certification granted by the QS organization (UK).
Nguyen Tat Thanh University is the only Vietnamese institution achieved 4-star standard of QS Stars in 2019
In particular, the joys of lecturers and students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University were also multiplied once the Pharmacy program (for Degree of Pharmacist) of Nguyen Tat Thanh University has been recognized to be in compliance with the education accreditation standards of the Minister of Education and Training according to the Circular No. 04/2016/TT-BGDĐT with the percentage of satisfactory criteria is 92%. Up to the present, the Pharmacy training program (for Degree of Pharmacist) is the third training program of Nguyen Tat Thanh University to be accredited besides the Bachelor of Hospitality Management and the Bachelor of Engineer of Electrical – Electronic Engineering Technology. Previously, four raining programs of Nguyen Tat University successfully completed the AUN-QA assessment procedure, including Business Administration, Information Technology, English Studies, and Finance – Banking.

On this occasion, there were many exciting activities such as tug-of-war contest, flower arrangement competition, launching the contest “NTTU in my eyes 2020”, NTTU’s Got Talent … Especially the exhibition “21 years of establishment and development of Nguyen Tat Thanh University” which has displayed more than 200 photos. Starting as a human resource training center for the garment industry, up to now, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has become a prestigious higher education institution with 46 training programs, over 20,000 students, and nearly 2,000 of academic and non-academic staff.

Since 2017, the University has officially become an associate member of the Southeast Asian University Network, and one of the top 20 universities of Vietnam to be recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training for the quality accreditation. At the end of November 2019, the University also became the second university in Vietnam to be granted the 4 star rating certificate by the QS (UK), and at the beginning of 2020, it was the only non-public higher education institution in Ho Chi Minh City to be ranked in the top 20 universities of Vietnam for citation index according to the Vietnam UPM rankings. Over the past years, the University’s lecturers and researchers have had many joint-publications in prestigious magazines and conferences with the total number of domestically and internationally published articles to be 3,000, in which nearly 2,000 articles were published in SCOPUS / ISI journals of the world’s leading publishers.
