From what was shared by speakers, Vietnamese universities including Nguyen Tat Thanh University would have clear, specific path to develop Education 4.0.

Prof. Been – Chian Chien, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, Taiwan National University, shared: “Today’s world is changing so fast, so sharing of views or listening to experiences from other countries is essential. NTTU is a young university but has a better advantages which are young teaching staff, many future orientations, and long-term vision of leader board. Our job is to prepare ourselves before changes and to change whenever needed. If we want to have position and vision, we need to change constantly. In my opinion, NTTU is a good university with many future potentials, contributing achievements to Education 4.0.”

Prof. Duong Trong Hai presents NTTU’s approach to Teaching 4.0 in Education 4.0.

Commenting on the 4.0 education model of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc, Deputy Director of Ha Noi National University said that: “I highly appreciate Nguyen Tat Thanh University that it is the first university in the country to develop the approach to the trend of 4.0 and since the Assoc. Nguyen Manh Hung submitted to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnamese experts, including myself, found a problem that while outside is talking about Industrial Revolution 4.0, 4.0 in higher education is very slow. When NTTU submitted this project to Ministry of Education, some schools expressed concern that whether it would be suitable for NTTU to build 4.0 model because NTTU is not a tech school. But if we keep avoiding it, how can we innovate.”

Nguyen Quang Huy, lecturer of Thu Dau Mot University, said: “International Conference Education 4.0 has provided our students a chance to visualize first steps of university 4.0. Besides, when joining the program students received the experiences from international experts and brought the applications back to build the Education 4.0 model. I am especially impressed with Malaysia’s 4.0 University model because it is located in Southeast Asia, with a cultural similarity and not much different in terms of education compared to other universities in Vietnam.

Prof. Le Thi Hoai An, Lorraine University, France, expressed her surprise at the professionalism of Nguyen Tat Thanh University: “After two days of the conference, I am very impressed by the way NTTU organize this conference because of the elaborate and professional way from the stage of preparing the guests to the main event. The reports by the speakers were also diverse, the professors are leading experts in their fields. I found those reports very useful for the audience to see the progress in the development of University 4.0 of universities around the world. I only regret to see that the number of Vietnamese participants were quite small. It would be very good if other universities could come and join. NTTU’s organizing this conference has shown foresight, strategic ideas with the will to develop.”

In order to successfully organize the “Model of the University of Education 4.0 – 21st Century Education”, Nguyen Tat Thanh University planned and prepared from March. The university introduced and widely advertised this seminar on its website, fan page of the university and in other media. NTTU also sent invitations to Minister of Education and Training, and other universities in the country. The professionalism of NTTU had proved to international friends that this university was always focused on comprehensive education reform.
