Bicycle Tour 2019 – continue the journey of connecting love, protecting the environment

With the current environmental concern, there are a variety of movements which contribute to changing the views of young people about environmental protection. Therefore, the program “Bicycle Tour” receives lots of attention from many young people.

The “Bicycle Tour” program has been held for 3 seasons (since 2017) with useful activities such as movements about environmental protection, cleaning up the roads, painting manhole covers, painting walls, etc. “Bicycle Tour” 2019 program has returned on May 4-5, 2019. Let’s review the activities of “Bicycle Tour” 2019 with us!!!

The tour runs for 2 days:

* On May 4, 2019, the tour started with movements to the students of Phong Phu Primary School and Vo Van Hat Primary School – both schools located in District 9 – about the awareness of environmental protection, making products made of recycled materials, clean up trashes. The meaning of waste classification bringing benefits to the environment and saving natural resources is also delivered during the program. At the same time, high school students also worked together to clean the streets, specifically the parallel route of Hanoi Highway.

* The program continues on May 5, 2019, participants had the opportunities to exchange and have fun through the game “Ring the Golden Bell”, “cultural exchange”, “Teambuilding”, with the presence of 6 clubs/teams/groups from all schools located in HCMC, such as:

– Social Work Team of Nguyen Tat Thanh University in Ho Chi Minh City

– Handmade Volunteer Club, University of Transport, Ho Chi Minh City.

– Connecting Club from Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, campus in Ho Chi Minh City

– DSC Skills Club Ho Chi Minh City College of Industry and Trade.

– Skills Club of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education

– Skills Club of Ho Chi Minh City University of Banking.

Let’s protect the “GREEN-CLEAN-NO POLLUTION” environment together with “Bicycle Tour”! Let’s promote environmental awareness to change not only ourselves but also the whole society, towards a greener-cleaner- more beautiful society.
