A fresh graduate volunteers to apply for the military service to serve the country

NTTU – Graduating with a good bachelor’s degree in Vietnamese studies at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, opening up many job opportunities, however Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat, the student of class 18DVN3A, Faculty of Tourism and Creative Communication volunteeringly applied for the military service to devote his youth to serve the country with diligence and pride. 

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dat shared that he decided to serve a few years in the military instead of seeking jobs as his fellow graduates do. With the good Degree, it is not hard for him to have a job but he still determined to join the military. “I want to train myself to be strong and mature in the army environment”, he said.

“I also search information on internet for regulations and life in the military, as well as experiences from other people, since then I know how to adapt to the high disciplined environment”, Dat shared.

Nguyen Thanh Dat joins the community service

To be named in the graduation ceremony on April 22, 2023 marks the first milestone in the academic journey and recognizing achievements of Dat during three years of studying at Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Currently, Dat has spent 3 months out of 2 years of serving which brings him a lot of valuable experiences.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan – his father felt happy when Dat was accepted to join the military service. The family also advised him to strictly obey the regulations to become more mature.
