A female student from Nguyen Tat Thanh University won 1 first prize and 1 third prize at the SheFuture – Female Entrepreneurship Competition.
NTTU – At the SheFuture – Female Entrepreneurship Competition finals, a female student from Nguyen Tat Thanh University excellently brought home 1 first prize and 1 third prize.
SheFuture is a student entrepreneurship competition organized by ForGood Vietnam and the Community Connection Center (University of Economics and Finance, Ho Chi Minh City) to encourage and develop creative thinking, inspire business ideas among students, especially those targeting women. This competition contributes to the realization of national goals for enterprise development and the national gender equality strategy.
In this year’s competition, Nguyen Tat Thanh University had 16 projects participating, of which 3 outstanding projects advanced to the finals.
In the final round, teams had 5 minutes to present their ideas to the judges and 10 minutes for questions and rebuttals from the judges. The prizes were awarded based on the total investment amount (simulated) from the judges.
Ultimately, the project “GCC Fertilizer from Fruit Peel Combined with Shrimp Powder” by the team of students Pham Thi Ngoc Phuong, Dam Thi Hieu, Tran Thi Diem Hong, Huynh My Thuan (Nguyen Tat Thanh University), and student Nguyen Duc Minh (University of Natural Resources and Environment) with the guidance of Mr. Tran Thanh and Mr. Truong Thi Cam Len, excellently won the first prize in the competition.
The project “GCC Fertilizer from Fruit Peel Combined with Shrimp Powder” won first prize in the competition.
The project “Diabetes Support Tea from Pomegranate Leaves” by the Hibi team, including students Nguyen Thi Yen Linh, Nguyen Thanh Nga, Nguyen Diem Quynh Nhi, Pham Tran Minh Thu, Vo Ngoc Minh Thu from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Ngoc My, and MSc. Le Thu Thuy, MSc. Huynh Van Hieu, achieved third prize overall.
The Hibi team won the third prize in the competition.
Additionally, the project “Skin Care Product – Scar Fading Extracted from Quercetin, Flavonoids, Steroids, Found in the Goldenrod Plant” by the NTC CARE team, including members Trinh Hoang Ngan, Nguyen Kieu My, Nguyen Tien Dat, Le Van Xo, was recognized by the organizing committee as one of the TOP5 projects in the final round of the competition. This project was conducted under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Trang, MSc. Huynh Van Hieu, and lecturer Ngo Hoang.
The project “Skin Care Product – Scar Fading Extracted from Quercetin, Flavonoids, Steroids, Found in the Goldenrod Plant” by the NTC CARE team was recognized as one of the TOP5 projects in the competition.
Furthermore, projects from Nguyen Tat Thanh University that made it to the TOP15 were also certified by the competition organizers.
The 3 projects that received the TOP15 certificate in the competition are:
“Algae Skin Care Mask” project by students from the Environmental Management and Business Administration Department;
“HERINS – Insecticide from Cowpea and Roselle Seeds” project from the Chemical Engineering Technology Department;
“Silver Nano Synthesis from Mandarin Peel Extract and Preliminary Evaluation of Antioxidant and Photocatalytic Activity” project from the Chemical Engineering Technology Department.
It can be seen that the student entrepreneurial projects of Nguyen Tat Thanh University are increasingly developing strongly and asserting their position in the entrepreneurial innovation ecosystem of universities. Through the awards achieved in the past period, these projects have demonstrated a strong transformation from initial ideas to feasible projects, once again affirming the mission and vision of Nguyen Tat Thanh University in the right direction to train talents with entrepreneurial and innovative spirit, integrating into the world, becoming the future masters of the country.

The support and investment in projects participating in the She Future competition demonstrate the university’s care and encouragement for entrepreneurial projects by female students, in line with the spirit of female entrepreneurship. The awards at this competition are one of the outstanding achievements contributing to the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
The GCC fertilizer product is formulated from fruit peels, with each type of fruit peel having its own properties mixed with shellfish powder. In addition to solving environmental issues, it also has the special function of automatically balancing the pH of the soil during cultivation. The product is aimed at customers who are farmers in the provinces of the Mekong Delta and a group of customers who enjoy planting ornamental trees, bonsai in Ho Chi Minh City. The project’s mission is to provide a solution for waste circulation, benefit businesses, enhance the value of Vietnamese fruits, and build a green production agricultural sector.
The tea product that supports blood sugar reduction from pomegranate leaves is made from 100% natural ingredients, with a simple formula and completely free of preservatives, colorants, and synthetic fragrances, making it safe for users. The product is researched as pomegranate leaves are extracted into a concentrated form, then mixed with sweetgrass extract and pomegranate leaf husks after extraction at an appropriate ratio. The product is packaged in small packets and stored in sealed boxes. The project uses clean, easy-to-find, easy-to-grow, inexpensive ingredients to reduce the cost of the product, which is relatively inexpensive but highly effective in providing a health support product that stabilizes blood sugar and enhances immunity. The product is the result of scientific research by team members, with a scientific basis for the blood sugar-lowering effects of the product.
The product set includes sunscreen – skin care – scar fading – spot treatment 3-in-1 cream extract from Quercetin, Flavonoids, and Steroids found in the Goldenrod plant. The project’s product is fully in line with consumer trends, not only meeting the demand for natural and safe skin care but also contributing to environmental protection, an important factor in modern consumption, contributing to the sustainable development goals of the community and the country.
