“Pack Your Bags” for an International Internship – Credit Transfer and Life Experience
Students in majors such as Healthcare, Languages, Tourism, and Hospitality have the opportunity to intern in developed countries such as Japan, Taiwan, and Malaysia for periods ranging from three months to under one year. A key benefit is the ability to transfer internship credits back to NTTU. Notably, students can also participate in short-term exchange programs at Sunchon National University (South Korea), with generous support including 100% tuition exemption, subsidized dormitory accommodation, and transferable academic credits upon completion of the program. Recently, NTTU has expanded cooperation in international-standard dental training (Dentistry – Oral and Maxillofacial) with partners from Australia.
Alumnus Vu Anh Tuan Tu (Faculty of Tourism) shared after his internship in Japan:
“My time working in Japan not only helped me improve my language skills but also shaped my professional attitude, independent thinking, and financial autonomy. It was a truly valuable experience that I will always treasure. I’m sincerely grateful to the university for making this opportunity possible.”

NTTU is actively involved in more than 10 global education projects, including Erasmus+ and the British Council, and receives mentorship from international professors, enabling its faculty to stay up to date with modern teaching methodologies.
A notable highlight is NTTU’s satellite campus at Aomori University (Japan), which serves as a “gateway hub” allowing Vietnamese students and lecturers to access academic and professional environments in Japan through exchange programs, internships, dual-degree pathways, and international certifications.
