NTTU Successfully Hosts the 2025 Creative Movement Activities Program

NTTU – On June 24 and 25, Nguyen Tat Thanh University successfully hosted the 2025 Creative Movement Activities Program at the university’s Center for Advanced Technology Development.

The 2025 Creative Movement Activities Program was co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and the Center for Youth Science and Technology Development, with the support of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology. The program aimed to connect educators, organizations, enterprises, young people, students, and young intellectuals across the country who share the aspiration to build a smart and sustainable society.

The program featured a series of creative, academic, and technological application events, organized through four major competitions with over 1,000 contestants and more than 400 ideas and products centered around themes such as education, transportation, technology, and support for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups.

The 2025 Product and Technology Design Competition for People with Disabilities focused on addressing challenges in learning, daily activities, mobility, and communication for people with disabilities. The 8th Young Innovation Competition on “Green Transportation” featured two categories: “Model – Product” and “Idea – Solution.” The 17th Ho Chi Minh City Youth Creative Ideas Competition in 2025 revolved around the theme “Ideas to Promote the Digital Literacy Movement.” The 5th STEM Lesson Design Competition in 2025 served as a reputable and practical platform for teachers, pedagogy students, and individuals working in STEM education nationwide.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University has accompanied the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union for many years in organizing the STEM Lesson Design Competition. The university is also known as one of the pioneering institutions in building and developing creative education models and STEM application activities in schools. It has organized numerous research activities, experiments, the creation of smart learning tools, and the development of complete instructional materials on STEM teaching methods for high school teachers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of this year’s STEM Lesson Design Competition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University – once again affirmed the growing appeal and far-reaching impact of STEM education. One of the university’s key strategic directions in recent years has been to strongly promote STEM education – an interdisciplinary model integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

“STEM is not only an innovative teaching method but also a powerful tool for developing critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and collaboration skills in learners – core competencies of global citizens in the 21st century,” emphasized Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the “STEM Lesson Design Competition”, Mr. Đoan Kim Thanh– Director of the Center for Youth Science and Technology Development – expressed his gratitude to the host institution, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, and positively acknowledged the university’s efforts in promoting the development of STEM programs in teaching and career orientation at high schools.

Alongside the professional competition rounds, this year’s Creative Movement Activities Program also featured a series of thematic seminars with the participation of esteemed scientists and education experts. These seminars provided a valuable opportunity for teachers, contestants, and guests to share experiences, explore emerging trends, and especially to gain insights into the effective application of artificial intelligence in professional practice, learning, and research.

As part of the opening ceremony of the STEM Lesson Design Competition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Tho from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology represented Nguyen Tat Thanh University to share practical experiences in the field of modern education, particularly the actual implementation of the STEM model at the university.
