Faculty of Creative Communication, Nguyen Tat Thanh University actively supports the community in Dong Nai Province
NTTU – On September 25, 2024, the Propaganda Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee organized a training conference for the Provincial and District-level and equivalent Steering Committee 35 for the year 2024. Attendees included leaders from departments, agencies, and sectors; members of the Provincial Party Committee’s Steering Committee 35; members of the secretariat assisting the Steering Committee 35; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Dong Nai; leaders of provincial socio-political organizations; and leaders and reporters from media agencies in the province.
In his opening remarks at the conference, Mr. Pham Xuan Ha, a member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and Deputy Head of the Standing Steering Committee 35 of the Provincial Party Committee, stated: “In accordance with Resolution 35 of the Politburo (Term XII), the Provincial Party Committee has prioritized organizing training courses for members of the steering committee and supporting staff at all levels, starting from general theoretical knowledge. This conference aims to provide training for the Provincial and District-level and equivalent Steering Committee 35 on protecting the ideological foundation of the Party. In this context, equipping skills and knowledge about social media communication is extremely important and urgent for Steering Committee 35 as digital technology continues to develop.”
As part of the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Quang Hao, Dean of the Creative Communication Faculty, presented a specialized topic titled “Social Media Communication Skills and Issues for Local Areas.” The main content emphasized three key issues related to social media that need clarification, three communication goals for local areas on social media, and three social media challenges facing local areas. The presentation delved into important aspects surrounding the audience of social media, skills for effective social media communication, and strategies for managing social media crises at the local level.
Alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Quang Hao, the community support activities also involved lecturers: Dr. Tran Vinh Ha, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thoa, and Ms. Le Kim Hau. This community support initiative by the Creative Communication Faculty has achieved certain positive results and has been highly appreciated by the Propaganda Department of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee.
