Nguyen Tat Thanh University works to unify the short-term vocational training plan in 2022 in Ben Tre Province

NTTU – On the morning of March 29, 2022, the delegation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University had a meeting with leaders of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ben Tre province to agree on short-term vocational training plans in 2022 of the province, serving for Project No. 06-DA/TU dated on January 29, 2021 of the Ben Tre Provincial Party Committee on “Developing human resources to meet the requirements of socio-economic development of Ben Tre province in the period of 2020 – 2025, vision 2030”

The delegation of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University. On the local side, Mr. Doan Hai Nam – Deputy Manager, together with leaders of the Department of Labor, Education and Profession under the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Ben Tre province welcomed the delegation.

Based on the signing document of comprehensive cooperation between Nguyen Tat Thanh University and Ben Tre province; Project No. 06-DA/TU dated on January 29, 2021 of the Ben Tre Province’s Party Committee on “Developing human resources to meet the socio-economic development requirements of Ben Tre province in the period of 2020 – 2025, vision to 2030” together with Plan No. 3409/KH-UBND dated on June 16, 2021 of the People’s Committee of Ben Tre province on the implementation of the project, the meeting aimed to discuss and agree on the contents of coordination between two units. Two units also agreed to sign a cooperation agreement for 5 years and will have a specific plan in each year associated with the common tasks, functions and targets of the industry. Mr. Doan Hai Nam proposed Nguyen Tat Thanh University with its prestige and experience to support the industry and the locality in participating in training according to the results of student stream, vocational training for a group of young workers who cannot go to the university, as well as the group of urban workers after the COVID-19 epidemic who are staying in the locality; supporting to consult technical solutions and skills contests, honoring professions in fields, contributing to promoting vocational training for rural workers in Ben Tre province to achieve better results in the coming time.
