Specifically, at the present time, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has implemented to support students in 04 forms: Support students in the area of quarantine and blockade in Ho Chi Minh City; Support NTTU international students; Reduced tuition fees for the 3rd semester of the academic year 2020-2021; Support students to volunteer to participate in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.
- Support NTTU students in isolation and blockade areas in Ho Chi Minh City
Living in isolation and blockade areas brings many difficulties to students when many students have not yet fully prepared the necessary necessities. Faced with the urgent practical situation, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has timely reviewed and grasped the actual situation of students who are in the blockade area, according to which you will receive the necessary necessities, the operation is currently being mobilized and is expected to launch this month.
Along with that, a number of training faculties such as the Faculty of Tourism and Vietnam Studies, the Faculty of Medicine, etc. have proactively provided timely support to students in terms of living expenses during the pandemic.
- NTTU International Student Support
The dormitory of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is currently hosting 137 international students, including 95 Lao students and 42 Cambodian students. In this period, the university has supported the cost with a support level of 500,000 VND/student. Besides, the NTTU International Student Support Center cooperates with sponsors and hands over essentials such as vegetables, instant noodles, dried fish… and 40 lunches/ every day sent to the Dormitory, it is expected that the time will be extended until the end of the epidemic.

- Tuition reduction for 3rd year of academic year 2020-2021
Previously, when the Covid 19 epidemic took place, realizing that many students and families were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, the management board of Nguyen Tat Thanh University decided to support a 5% reduction in tuition fees for registered students with online learning modules in the third quarter of the 2020-2021 academic year. Accordingly, the reduced tuition fee will be transferred to the next semester or deducted when students register for additional courses or have not completed the tuition fee for the 3rd semester of the academic year 2020-2021, and continue to extend the payment period of tuition fee for the third semester until the end of July 4, 2021.
- Support students to volunteer to participate in the prevention and control of Covid 19 in Ho Chi Minh City
As one of the universities with a team of staff, lecturers and students actively participating in the frontline against the epidemic.
