Nguyen Tat Thanh University signs cooperative agreement with the Department of Science and Technology, Dong Nai Province

Recently, Dong Nai Province’s Innovation Startup Festival – TechFest DongNai 2022 was hosted with the theme “Creative Startups – Converging resources of Innovation”; Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Head of the Market Development Department; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members from the Provincial Innovation and Startup Ecosystem Steering Committee; representatives from the People’s Committees of districts and cities; experts and scientists; managers in the science and technology industry participated in the event. From Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU), there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Hong – Vice President and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bach Long Giang – Head of Science and Technology Department and Director of the NTT Innovation and Incubation Center.

Techfest DongNai 2022 is an important event to help the Dong Nai provincial business communities and other provinces in the Southeast region access the products and services developed based on the use of intellectual property, technology, especially digital technology, artificial intelligence, and internet of things to solve problems related to the national economy. This event also aims to promote entrepreneurship and innovation, gathering national resources to Dong Nai Province to promote scientific application, technology and innovation for socio-economic development of Dong Nai Province. At the ceremony, the delegates conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate Techfest DongNai 2022.

A highlight of the ceremony was the signing ceremony of cooperative agreement between the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai Province and NTTU on  entrepreneurship related activities to expand new cooperative relationships between the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai Province and NTTU.

This cooperative agreement aims to enhance and develop start-up and innovation activities, cooperation in scientific research and technology development, promotional activities, investment and introduction of scientific and technological products.

Over the years, NTTU has constantly improved and diversified scientific research by strengthening cooperative activities in science and technology with domestic and international institutions, significantly strengthening research activities of NTTU to become more sustainable in the coming years.
